Truss - I Would Have Done Better Than Sunak In Elections Let me introduce you to the latest name on the Dinner Speech circuit, Dee Lewdid.

I saw in the news this week that you can now only buy one model of car with a CD player in it and an article I'd read inferred that the CD was now officially dead and also they were therefore saying, so is the album. So what do you mostly use to listen to music on? For me I'm still in love with the CD, still buy new and used CDs. I have a few hundred. In the early 2000s I was an early adopter of subscription services that allowed you to download a certain amount of music per month - I have over 10,000 tracks on various usb sticks and hard-drives. That was nowhere near as satisfying as owning the actual media though, so I started buying CDs again and I think it's why I've never gotten into streaming. There's something about the whole concept of an album, be it vinyl, tape or CD, with the addition of the art work, the sleeve notes, etc, that makes it so much more complete, especially when an album is well crafted in it's flow. I still have quite a bit of vinyl and I do have a very old NAD turntable and amp, but I rarely play them because the turntable needs I good service I think. I occasionally toy with buying something like a Rega Planar, but as I already have two music systems (both built around Marantz CD players), where to put a third, in a very average sized ex-council house is a bit of a conundrum, especially as (as some of you might remember, my wife is profoundly deaf (though this means get to listen to what I want constantly)) my wife would definitely not appreciate it. Think I've said enough. Fire Away!

One of the most bizarre things I find in life is how the very well off are frequently given stuff for free.

This is how I listen to music. It means a lot to me.

So I think I'm enjoying Romance, the Fontaines DC album, (4th listen through as a complete album) but... Romance sounds like The Horrors Desire sounds like Ride In the Modern World sounds like U2 Sundowner sounds like The Cure Death Kink sound sooooo like the Pixies All these songs are good and I love all those other bands, but it's like every other song is a tribute to another band, so listening to it as an album is not the expression that an album should be. There's no flow. Is this because young people no longer listen to albums as a whole, often having everything on shuffle or just cherry picking their favourite songs out of an album? Fair play to them for putting a single and one of the best tracks as the final track on the album, that's refreshing.

Because you're better than me? Outside!

Serious question. Would you swap for Erik ten Hag? I would, but only to see Man U fans faces and hope that we immediately move EtH on too.

I see what you did there, now hypofluorite.

LCFC 2-4 Arsenal - Post Match Thread
Trav Le Bleu replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
For anyone feeling they've had a lousy Saturday, I'm currently at my niece's wedding. The DJ has started playing Easy... not bad The Commodores or Faith No more, but Boyz II Men. The second track was Tracks of my Tears, not by Smokey Robinson, but by... Boyz II Men. Don't worry, I'll survive. -
No one can bring themselves to comment.

I do find the whole fine art thing weird. This is the original, it's worth £50m, that is an exact copy, it's worth next to nothing. Yet the skill of doing the copy is just as much as the original and it looks just like the original. Also, it's not the artist getting the money either. Whilst I'm not saying that art doesn't have it's worth, I have bits and pieces I've bought for a few hundred, your NFT comparison is not without substance.
