Going round with fewer clubs is good for your game as it makes you think about how to play different shots.

I got a Ping 7 wood last year. It's a great club both off the deck and off the tee that replaces the 5 iron for me. So easy to hit and very consistently straight. I bought a 5 Wood to match and am also thinking of ditching the 6 iron for a 9 wood too now.

Good time to create a large compost bin. Luckily the end of my garden looks over the river Trent with an embankment down to a path along the river it so I can just chuck stuff over the fence onto the bank. Also stops people potentially climbing up it.
