Pretty much. Phenomenal agent. Won't be many better.

£5m? Sheff U are bottom of the league with 10 points...and even they don't want him! Who is going to pay that much for him??
-
Fingers crossed the club can find a buyer for him in the Summer. £3-5m of pure profit on the books.
-
Most people on here were in favour of it too. Ridiculous decision. You could mayyyybe argue that it's the club protecting his sell-on value, but I'll believe that when I see him sold!

Leicester 1-1 Ipswich Post Match Thread

We were in control for a lot of the game last night, against second in the league. It was a very irritating end, and I get why people are frustrated, but we do need to relax a bit. ...a time for panic may well come, but there is no need to start after last night. -
Of course it isn't endless. I was more just suggesting that we should have been a bit more cautious in the Summer if we are this close to the breadline, as it were. I'm not really criticising - If we've done it within the rules, then fair play to the club for really going for it this year.

Thought we looked a level above them first half. Second half, well, we just looked dead on our feet for the last half of it. Result was fair end the end, just so frustrating to concede late goals! -
It is a little strange. We spent nearly £50m in the Summer, yet now we seem to be stumbling over £1.5m. If we had financial problems, surely we should have been more cautious with the Summer spend... Or is it more of a wages issue and we need to move a reasonable earner on before we can get Sensi in? I guess he won't be coming down to the Championship to earn the same money he's on now...
-
It’s more a case of having a player on your books until 2027 eating up a bit of your wage bill…when the data suggests you probably shouldn’t sign him in the first place. Just playing devil’s advocate - I am in favour of the signing as risks like this can sometimes pay off! Fully understand people being dead against it though.
-
😂 What are you talking about? He was average at best in almost every game he played for us! More bad games than good but ‘average’ overall would be fair.
-
So would we have had to agree to this? Or can they just recall him whenever they want? He won’t be missed though, will he. We’ll be alright.
-
Very annoying and completely ruins my idea.
-
So is it likely Sheff U will still be paying his wages until the end of the season? So then if we loan him out again we could potentially get the same again on top. We should do this with him every year! When the first club inevitably chucks him back, we just loan him out again. £££
-
Or all four of those are true!
-
Yes, this. He may have been annoyed with perceived lack of support, but I'm sure he was still 'trying' and desperate to turn things around. Maybe he was pushing for the sack for the pay out but I doubt it - Last year was absolutely terrible for his reputation. ..and if there is one thing BR definitely cares about, it's his reputation.
-
Reports suggest he's agreed to join. I guess the club sees ~£3m as pretty expensive for 6 months when we can pick him up for free at the end of his contract. I doubt Enzo sees it that way though!
-
I have a feeling this is just his nature rather than it just being down to his age. Could be wrong, obviously. You don’t always want to coach the crazy out of players - The unpredictability can often be an asset. I think we have to take the rough with the smooth with Abdul and that will be the case for years to come if he stays. From what I’ve seen so far there will be more highs than lows though…and it’ll never be dull with him in the team!
-
Even at 19, he should probably know that you can’t jump in, two feet off the ground with studs up. KDH had his head in his hands before the red card came out! Just before half time and 1-0 up…Ridiculous bit of decision making regardless of his age. Ah well, the unpredictability is probably what makes him so much fun to watch!
-
Red card cost us the three points. I know we weren’t particularly good before it, but there’s no way they would have dominated the second half without it.
-
Getting ready for his bi-annual dance with Torino.
-
Yeah agree with this - He's better than a lot of people think. Not perfect, obviously, but he's one of the main reasons I really look forward to watching us play nowadays.
-
How long ‘till Enzo is telling us about his first ‘important’ injury then?
-
He is fit at the moment at least. Hasn't played very much at all, but hasn't been out injured since September. Which presumably means he's been in full training for the past 4 months...which is positive. It's looking likely to happen so I'm trying to clutch at some straws!
-
Yeah - This was the one I liked the look of when we were linked last time.
-
Sounds like Inter would be willing to let him go in January for ~£1m. I know he's injury prone (and free in the Summer!), but that's a pretty low risk transfer if the wages are sensible?
