  1. F@cking hell. The Levein- Kelly years were truly the dark ages.
  2. Love the tactical flexibility. So many of the so called "tactical geniuses" are so rigid with their philosophy. Really glad to see Marti isn't on an ego trip and changes it as he sees fit. The high line as many others have pointed out has changed, he's quick to make subs when needed too. Best of all, he seems to have got the players working hard and for each other. That has to be the biggest miracle.
  3. I agree I like his talk, now he needs to follow up with actions. I like that he's given youngsters a chance (did he have a choice), and makes timely subs when it's not going right.
  4. Oddly specific. You doing alright mate?
  5. Why in the f$ck wouldn't the leadership team come out and say it then to save the fans clamoring for their dismissal?
  6. Good Lord, can you imagine how many they would have had with Ward in goal. Doesn't bare thinking about. One amazing save and several other very good saves. The one on the line from the corner was pure reflex. Like others have said, he really does well at claiming balls from corners.
  7. He had some really good games for us. Not just a keeper that can play out from the back but also mind some incredible saves for us. Bit soon to say he's guna turn into a shit keeper.
  8. Players that want to be here are worth the bad game or two as long as it's for their development. What do we gain from playing cretins like Faes?
  9. As if any of the money will be reinvested.
  10. F bombs at the end with Ayew 😂. Surprised you were able to keep your composure that long.
  11. I agree that we should support the team in good times and bad. But as fans can't we also ask that players turn up in good times and bad? We aren't asking for a lot right now, just a bare minimum effort would be f*"cking nice.
  12. Preki was absolute peak ft meltdown 😂
  13. 😂 I definitely don't disagree with the performance. My response for when players/managers complain about lack of support during crunch moments is "give us something to foking cheer then". How are we supposed to get excited when it's the 90th minute and a goal down and Faes/vesty are playing lovely intricate passes in their own box
  14. I think that's great to see a bit of passion. Wish the rest of the team had some.
  15. Obviously he needs time to be judged probably. Saying that, a big thing I liked on the first interview was his talk about him getting the fans on board, showing that even if we lose, as long as everyone puts everything in, fans will be more understanding. From what I've seen so far, I haven't seen much hunger or desire. Preston won pretty much all the 50/50s and the same with Huddersfield. Is it a player who thing, like when we got relegated from the prem with Madders "we're too good to go down"? Players simply thinking they are too good and don't put any effort in? I could forgive a team that tries and loses but it just breaks me down watching a half assed performance. It's beyond anger for me, it's just so painful.
  16. Banana skin 😆 That would imply it's a winnable game. Can't see us winning many. Of course I'm hoping to be proven wrong
  17. I agree with your sentiment, probably wouldn't have articulated it as fruitily, but I understand your gripe with people who are quick to emotion (I feel like I am too in a lot of situations). Wasn't the gripe with KDH that he 'wished' Madisson luck at spurs and everyone went mental at him? I thought that was overblown a bit but the family base is a tinder pile at the mo. There's just a lot of little things that have built up and now the kindling has turned into a blazing fire and every minor thing is just another log for it. I think a lot of it (I would hope at least) in times gone by a lot of these minor issues would be brushed off. Anyway I feel like I've just argued for both sides but ignorance is bliss, and sometimes I wish I could just shout at the telly and feel better afterwards.
  18. Seems like a nice bloke. Broke into the scene with great potential but as many have said hasn't quite lived up to it, possibly due to the ACL. Has been somewhat of a liability at times and then pops up with an absolute cracker of a goal. I'm not too fussed if he leaves. I'm never filled with confidence when his name is on the team sheet. For the past few seasons has been a pretty consistent 4/5 out of ten every game.
  19. I remember a thread like this at the start of Brendan's last season. Sentiments were similar if I recall.
  20. Good luck to him on his journey.
  21. Not Paul Gallagher?
  22. Sounds like the logic of a well run club, not Leicester.
  23. 😆 It's Faes for me. I do think our attacking options are very good and is one good striker away from being excellent for championship level. Even Ayew will be decent at this level I think.
