  1. I think most people put the blame at Rogers' door. I don't hate Ward, he's just a limited keeper as everyone apart from Rogers could see.
  2. Same, I hope he comes good as a manager. So many ex pros are comfortable sitting on their cash (who can really blame them), at least Rooney is ****in giving it a go like. Can we all just pray he stays in management and not become a pundit? That would be bad for mankind.
  3. We'll always have that Nalis goal. They can cry into their hovis.
  4. Too young for Pleat, wish I was too young for Peter Taylor.
  5. **** me, I briefly forgot about Sven's reign. What a mental time that was.
  6. There were the Levein and Rob Kelly years... Probably the darkest most boring time in my years supporting city.
  7. Goes to show how hard a job "management" is. Nige had a bit of an ego but he seemed to know his strengths and surrounded himself with a team of people who took care recruitment and training. (Seems Enzo is also doing similar things). There's no doubt Brendan's a skilled coach/tactician, the man won us an FA Cup. But his ego gets in the way of everything and fails in trying to do everything by himself.
  8. I find it funny that his best 18 months was with a team other managers assembled. His refresh here didn't work.
  9. Came here for the Winston joke, was not disappointed.
  10. He tries hard, he just doesn't seem good enough for us, so what. Doesn't look like he's going to be starting for us anytime soon. Wish him well and hope he comes good. Does seem a bit mad the hate he's getting on here. Man was in the team that won the FA Cup. Let it go. *Luke Thomas
  11. Doesn't sound good for Thomas. Shame though he looked promising when he first broke onto the scene.
  12. Like he met an invisible force field.
  13. I feel like fatawu always plays better when he comes on after not starting. Plays like he has a point to prove.
  14. That picture physically hurts to look at.
  15. The past two has screamed Brendan Rogers level of frustration.
  16. Felt like they probably edged it. Thought they defended really well. Especially considering all pre game talk was how bad they are at the back.
  17. A well measured post and something I agree with mostly too. People just like to find reasons to hate others. As a society we have put all of these people (footballers in this case) up on a pedestal just to knock them and rub our hands with glee while doing it. The press don't help. All of that aside one bit I did find funny was when he was trying to compare his story to an 'everyman' when saying "imagine if you have an office job that you go into every day that you don't like". Does he think people love their 9-5 call center jobs 😂?
  18. Does anyone know what the "situation" was at Chelsea that he couldn't talk about?
  19. Serious lag on the commentary..is there a way to listen to other audio?
  20. I thought he left rather than being sacked?
  21. I live not too far from Lewiston and this news is very upsetting. All of the schools have closed near us and I shan't be going to work until this nutter is dead. It was probably only a matter of time before something like this happened here in Maine but it is still quite shocking.
  22. Apologies if it's already been stated, but the ref didn't blow his whistle until he went down. I assume that meant he didn't judge the initial grab as a foul. Anyway the ref was a 🔔 end.
  23. Price aside that thing is feckin minging.
  24. That's a good stat.
