  1. What a save from the initial header.
  2. Stevie Howard's goal against Leeds was great. Remember it being the only time I've cheered as loud as I possibly could but couldn't even hear myself over the noise of everyone else it was a weird feeling.
  3. Nothing personal against him. Hopefully he's a nice bloke. Worst keeper I've ever seen play for us. I thought Pressman would be the worst. I was wrong.
  4. Finally, something promising from Martin! If he gives our youngsters a chance, he'll earn more patience from the fans – and certainly from me. I can stomach a boring draw or loss if our academy lads are getting playing time and showing promise. What I can't stand is seeing overpaid journeymen with nothing to play for out on the pitch.
  5. Specifically the last 5 would have been nice. That was the most frustrating thing for me, when we were looking for a winner and seeing Wout, ball at feet, hand on hips at the half way line with players in front of him, only to slowly pass it back the the keeper. It was infuriating.
  6. I didn't know that a rat is a historical reference to the persecution of Jewish people either to be fair. Probably should have looked more closely about what he's posting if it's on a particularly touchy subject as the message he's trying to get across just gets lost.
  7. Is it not a desperate time?
  8. Everyone is talking about him being a short term manager option only. Every manager is seemingly a short term appointment these days. I can understand some people upset that it's a lack of ambition but I think our lofty success days are behind us. We need a someone with proven success and had an edge about them, which he has. Other than the title winning season, the most enjoyable time for me watching Leicester was under Pearson, with defenders who could actually defend and wingers who would bomb forward. It was genuinely exciting. I'm over the possession style football.
  9. I know, but there is some truth in it. That's the worrying thing - that the club is seemingly run that bad.
  10. Sweet Jesus it's bad when we're are happy about the league putting restrictions on us. This would have to send a message to the board if the fans were behind it.
  11. That's an interesting view that I can't find a reason to argue against 😂.
  12. What an electric season he had when we got promoted. ****ing flying down that left wing.
  13. Would any other club take a risk on him? I'm confident he'll stay because of his injury record.
  14. Wow, that's pretty decent of him. Not many decent footballers left out there, so fair play.
  15. Like a Phoenix rising. There's only one Nigel Pearson!
  16. Empty is a good word to describe how I feel about the current team too (Vardy aside). I think as long as we see a couple of local lads in the side it will go a long way in terms of bringing the fans back on board.
  17. They do look racially similar.
  18. It's been inevitable for some time now.
  19. Sorry you are feeling this way. It's been like this for me since the bogers season. I didn't expect anything less in the transfer window. Actually surprised we signed someone permanent and not another horrific loan. Sounds like we also dodged a Dawson shaped bullet. You'd hope that they'd now start blooding some of the youngsters for the championship next season but there is no hope anymore.
  20. That article is mental. Starts off about Marcelo but the bulk is about how Max Gradel is currently outperforming Facundo!?
  21. Hard to judge for me looking back given how successful the team went on to be, but I felt more confident with the players and staff in place. Let's just hope for another turnaround this season. As things stand halfway through its hard to argue that we aren't were we are supposed to be. From what I've seen only Southampton look worse than us and that's also reflected in the table.
  22. In the great escape we were still in games. We look nowhere near that this season.
  23. I don't know when but it's a hard argument to make that we are better than three other teams in the league. So frail.
  24. This is the Christmas miracle we are all hoping for.
