It's like a champ man new season and the youth crop is amazing.

I don't remember a time when we have had so many prospects coming through at once. It's really genuinely exciting. It's masking a lot of problems at the club but whatever, if it's the fruit of the new training ground then it's something the ownership has done well.

Daka scoring two (no matter how shite) is a definite positive.

Respect for finding the pes screenshot.

Unreal moment from an average player?

Musa v Barca was mad weren't it. I remember thinking we'd signed a great player. -
It's called "modern, progressive football" according to the official statement.

Camera moves left and Rudkin's bonce appears.

"Purely British reasons". The **** is that?

Not even sure it's an argument given how many international caps he got. Anyone else come close?

I'd give it one game before someone blames Wellens.

I agree. Players come and go, but they can't take the FA cup away from us. Anyone who was in that team deserves credit.

I always love it when he scores. He seems to enjoy scoring more than most I've ever seen play for us. That in itself is just a joy to watch.

What a save from the initial header.

Fans’ heroes through the ages (well from 1966).

Stevie Howard's goal against Leeds was great. Remember it being the only time I've cheered as loud as I possibly could but couldn't even hear myself over the noise of everyone else it was a weird feeling. -
Nothing personal against him. Hopefully he's a nice bloke. Worst keeper I've ever seen play for us. I thought Pressman would be the worst. I was wrong.

Finally, something promising from Martin! If he gives our youngsters a chance, he'll earn more patience from the fans – and certainly from me. I can stomach a boring draw or loss if our academy lads are getting playing time and showing promise. What I can't stand is seeing overpaid journeymen with nothing to play for out on the pitch.

Specifically the last 5 would have been nice. That was the most frustrating thing for me, when we were looking for a winner and seeing Wout, ball at feet, hand on hips at the half way line with players in front of him, only to slowly pass it back the the keeper. It was infuriating.

I didn't know that a rat is a historical reference to the persecution of Jewish people either to be fair. Probably should have looked more closely about what he's posting if it's on a particularly touchy subject as the message he's trying to get across just gets lost.

Is it not a desperate time?

Everyone is talking about him being a short term manager option only. Every manager is seemingly a short term appointment these days. I can understand some people upset that it's a lack of ambition but I think our lofty success days are behind us. We need a someone with proven success and had an edge about them, which he has. Other than the title winning season, the most enjoyable time for me watching Leicester was under Pearson, with defenders who could actually defend and wingers who would bomb forward. It was genuinely exciting. I'm over the possession style football.

I know, but there is some truth in it. That's the worrying thing - that the club is seemingly run that bad.
