Buanannotte though looks a rolls royce. I think against lesser teams at home we need to shift to 3 at the back and bring another attacking mid to help support him & we could see some decent stuff down the KP this year

Chatting with my Forest mate this week, it really hit home how screwed we are with Cooper too. Says he always played best players out of position & midfield was just basically another line of defence, then i remembered we started Ndidi, Choudhary & Winks in the final game of pre season 😭 The least the club could have done this preseason is buy in some promising young players on perm deals, sack of any thoughts of staying up but sprinkle the team with hungry & borderline PL breakout season players, but no. As far as I can see we are the only nailed on relegated teams but unlike last time, we won’t be back to the PL for a very long time

I wouldn’t be worried as of yet. We haven’t played what is likely to be our best group together as yet & worked out the best system. I assume Cooper is trying different players in some of his preferred systems to see if they sink or swim. It will come together

Alves just looks a step above everyone when he’s on the ball, if he’s not starting in the first 5-10 games I’ll be very surprised. Soumare needs to get gone. Golding looks an excellent player too. Still very scrappy overall though, ball retention extremely poor

I’m personally buzzing about this. In Championship last season we were so much better with Ndidi, I don’t think we lost a game he played in till our bad run (didn’t play Hull or Leeds at home). I’ve bought the new home shirt and my son the full kit. I have to say the material feels a bit cheap, deffo comes up a bit small (but might be ‘pints drunk’ reasons for that). The shorts are pretty nice though, the overall design isn’t too bad. Much better than that collar thing we had season we went down

Gutted now it’s finally been announced and so angry at our board. The lack of accountability is staggering, we’re rudderless when we should be rudkinless.

All this “player swapping” is absolute nonsense. The ridiculous lengths clubs have to go in order to be compliant is mad. You literally can’t just buy a player from another club anymore, there has to be a sweetener in there that you have to sell one of yours. The numbers will look mad £60M for KDH but LCFC pay £40M for David Fofana = £52M profit for LCFC this season (5year contract) & £28M profit for Chelsea. all this is doing to football is saying if you’re a home grown player it’s very unlikely you’ll stay at your own club very long

Sounds like we’ve gone down the cheap / accept our relegation fate route. The only positive is that he might turn us around in the Championship & he cost us nothing. Our club is honestly in the mud, how no one at the top has taken accountability is the most staggering thing. Really looking forward to that great atmosphere against Spurs 😒

If Enzo goes I’ll only be mildly disappointed. If it means a) we keep KDH and b) we don’t renew Vestergard (good season in this system but likely back to type under a new manager). If we got in Potter who would be free, don’t have to sell then it would be a massive advantage. if we lose KDH, Maresca and Vesty renews though which is most likely that’s bloody annoying
