  1. Perez in front of goal was dog muck. I've not forgiven his blaze over the bar which would have got us a point at Chelsea in the second top four cock up. Couldn't knock his work rate though and he was a victim of being a jack of all trades player and not having a proper position. Could have been utilised better that's for sure. Was a massive waste of money though definitely. Just like nearly all Rodger's signings.
  2. Not a fan. But has happened before. Remember watching season reviews as a kid and Brian Little getting interviewed on his way to the dressing room at HT in one of the Play off finals
  3. Anyone here suffer from shin splints? They're really hampering my running. I thought it was because I've basically done a lot of Kms in a relatively short space of time, but now after speaking to some guys at work I'm not sure if it's my running style and I'm heel striking (as well as the distance). I'm actually going for a gait analysis tomorrow afternoon after workmates recommended it. When I did 5kms all the time, I never got any pain. It's since I've started doing 15km or more, and probably too soon another longer run. For context I've done 15km this morning. It took me the first 7km of absolute agony of shin pain before it subsides and I can run normally at pace. Same the other day when I did a half marathon distance, 7km before painless. I probably need to have a good length of time off really and a rest but then I'll feel a bit bored and lazy frankly. I've tried all the gel or deep heat type stuff. My legs are fine after running and usually the day after, but two or three days later ache and any run is pain until they free themselves up a bit.
  4. Only just seen this and totally agree. The celebrations of winning a league we should never have been in was embarrassing I thought. The open top bus was cringe af. Would Newcastle or West Ham have one next season if they got relegated this season? That's the equivalent in terms of squad and money/wages spent on our side. I was also fuming we didn't get 100+ points mainly because I was in line to win a fair few hundred in bets I had placed since August. We should have got 110+ points easily really with that team
  5. Think it's safe standing
  6. No better than Richie Wellens
  7. Still on the train back to Peterborough now. Starting to quickly realise I'm the mug for putting myself through it. Sick of it 😂 have really decided in my head now that I've had enough and will really cut back some of the aways next season, especially in the Champ
  8. Wolves will see this out. 1-0, a result we are incapable of getting until we have Preston at home next season
  9. 0-5 Vestergaard and Faes masterclass
  10. Fulham away first half 2023. This today reminded me of that, the body language and lack of bollocks on the players then and now had/has me thinking we're down
  11. Players are not good enough. But manager will carry the can for how bad we are at the back right now, we're terrible. Souttar or Nelson wouldn't be this bad. But I don't rate RVN at all tbh, not seeing any real improvement. The time to sack him if ever is now. A two week premier league break now is ideal. Fa cup game is irrelevant and better if we're out of it
  12. Worst centre back partnership I've ever seen today. Dog shit. We will go down because we cannot defend for toffee. One clean sheet all season is a joke and that was lucky af. Ruud hardly done anything to work on the defence. The gamble on him hasn't paid off at all
  13. Done 10km in 49 mins flat which is my PB. Happy with that because I'm nursing either shin splints or a small stress fracture in one leg, so had three days off. Also happy because the first half of the run it started raining fairly hard and a little windy 🤣 Next aim is to do a half marathon distance, possibly on Friday
  14. Our game management for a long time has been pathetic. I loved every minute of it today, was actually a surprise to see us do it so well for a change. Everton did the same thing yesterday, it's the fine margins like that which has helped keep them in the PL.
  15. Basically surrendering Playing Ayew, BDR and Vardy is a disgrace
  16. It's gonna be the three promoted teams back down isn't it...
  17. Board and him to go please. I've already accepted relegation. We're ****ing dross. He's made us worse and I won't have anyone tell me different. We should have lost every game under him in the league. Brighton game was same as Palace/Fulham apart from we somehow came back . West Ham dicked us and we got lucky with them not taking chances.
  18. Wank line up Vardy playing is ridiculous Where the hell is Woyo
  19. Beat this today. 21:53 just now. Absolutely ****ed though, my first 1km was a 4 minute split which tbh held me back in the last couple of 2km. Not sure I can actually get much better than this time, possibly when my shin splints have fully cleared but can't see me getting 21 minutes or under unless I perhaps did a race or park run rather than my running on the street. Nearly threw up when I stopped running 🤢🤣 Definitely prefer 10km or more. Find with a 5km I'm checking my Strava for the time and pace constantly, it's definitely a pressure run 5km is. Well for me anyway
  20. The bottom of this league is so bad it's laughable. The fact we can still stay up is funny but also painfully giving us hope 😂
  21. Won't be two worse teams than us. Everton can defend, even if they don't score many. I fully expect us to lose 1-0 there and be as usual unlucky or give them a goal from a mistake. Wolves can score, and Ipswich do have that team spirit and collectiveness about them. I genuinely can't see us winning any time soon let alone keeping a clean sheet. We still have Ipswich and Soton at home but I don't expect any points from them at all with how we're playing. We are not good enough to pick up 20+ points in the remaining games
  22. We have gone now. Our defence is embarrassing. A 0-0 wouldn't have been bad tonight, at least a clean sheet is something to build on. We're so bad it's laughable at the back. We aren't capable of scoring 3 in a game to win any time soon. RVN was the wrong appointment too but the board are the blame for the whole mess.
  23. Typical of us now to avoid a points deduction but go down on goal difference or something
  24. £50 a ticket no doubt
