Fans will always turn it the other way regardless of what the manager says so the manager can't win really. Cooper has already got people wanting him sacked (on the internet, this forum, granted) so wants point in him saying stuff people don't want to hear. He's going to be some people's number one enemy regardless of what he says.

2004-2008 was the worse period for the club and the relegation to the third tier, for the first ever time, confirmed that. We've finished bottom of the top division before. Nothing new if we do it again.

We will not decline. A club that has played in the third tier only once does not suddenly end up in league two. This time last year people were saying we would have more chance of being in league one than the Premier League. I get bored of all this. Even with the state of our finances we are not in the mess that the likes of Portsmouth were, it's not comparable, their whole squad walked out ffs. These posts stink of a big club attitude. We don't know how lucky we've got it to follow a club that has only really played in the top tier and second tier all it's existence. I am, however, not excited for this season and it's the first time I've felt like it all my life. I attended one friendly but aside from that I've not really taken interest in this pre season.

I hope they all do who return against us. I'll give Tielemens a clap because he's a cup final goalscorer, aside from that I couldn't care less about Maddison or Barnes or Castagne.

Which is the issue of people not going. Should be a tenner max. It's hard enough with season tickets and ticket prices then the league cup so early into the season. I saw an earlier post saying people aren't bothered about it due to the low attendances, I just think it's another thing people have to pay for when it should cost less.

Some of the iconic games carry value though. Same with PS1 games that I got rid of many years ago, now sell. We are in the same position as we were having a clear out the other day and found my gf's Nintendo 64. No games though. Not sure where to start looking to get just the one game as I'm guessing they hold value on eBay.

Comparisons between Szmodics and any of our players are ridiculous considering we won the league and Szmodics played in one of the worse teams in the division yet still scored 27 goals. Szmodics has only really had one good goalscoring season in the Championship, last season, I'd like to see if he could replicate first before bidding big for him. I'm not bothered if he goes to Ipswich.

Got to be Ward. Responsible for a lot of goals in a season where we got relegated. It's not often I blame goalkeepers but I do think if we had a better goalkeeper (or even still Kasper) then we'd have stayed up. Some of his positioning and handling for some of the goals was atrocious. £12m (I think) plus a big wage. Waste of time and money.

And nobody ever there working. All this 50mph on M1 for new safety areas, why not just do a couple junctions at a time instead of taking five or six junctions at one go.

I only recently listed to this album again. Wonderful.

We can beat these. If there's one "big" team I want to play first it's Spurs. And they will come at us and be open. I'm quietly confident. Up the Foxes.
