My point being though is that we're hiring bad managers. You posted about sympathising with Marti. How? He pointed at poor club culture but then let it continue? He was just another in the line of shocking managers we have appointed. You also refer to players being allowed to coast - it's the manager(s) that allow this. I don't feel sorry for these managers, they're terrible, the only thing I do "feel" for them is that they shouldn't have been anywhere near our club and the hierarchy are to blame for hiring them. If we get the next appointment right then of course our results will change. We saw under Pearson how he came in and changed the culture (twice). We need to get out of the habit of appointing bad managers (although with this hierocracy I don't think we will).

I get bored of seeing comments like this. If teams aren't where people expect them to be, and other teams overachieve, people just say "the league is poor". Not just Championship either but every league. We need more teams overachieving, in every league, so we don't just have leagues as expected prior to the season starting. Still annoys me when neutrals refer to our Premier League win as "poor league". When did all this even start. Like I said at the top of the thread, Hull had a transfer embargo and an "unproven" new manager. They weren't expected to be anywhere near top 6 but fair play to them they've had a great season.

I said weeks ago he should have been in serious conversation for manager of the season. Although I did tell my mate that, who supports Hull, and he laughed it off. But from an outside point of view they were not expected to be near top 6 and had a transfer embargo too (most of their players were free). Terrific job.

Play off final for Hull is incredible given they had a transfer embargo, new manager and only just stayed up last season.

We have appointed bad managers, Marti was one of them. Maresca was the last decent manager we had and he was able to get something out of these players.

How about players just don't cheat. Never thought about that one before.

Even worse if Southampton did spy on us and we still put three past them.

People genuinely said this when we were in the Championship under Maresca.

He picked the same players time and time again. Took half a season before Nelson started, not saying he was brilliant but Vestergaard and Faes were awful long before they were changed. Pointing out difficulties about being restricted in the transfer market, yet would have known all this before taking the job. Rubbish manager, end of.

I've always though it to be Elvis Presley, The Beatles and Michael Jackson. I don't think we've seen anyone at the level since Michael Jackson but Taylor Swift is massive and can easily sell out 50k gigs day after day.

Too early for me but Gary McAllister must have been excellent. He rarely seems to get mentioned but he won everything aside from a Champions League.

The three players I think I'd like to have seen play for us live.

Obviously we are all glad he didn't but Vardy could have played for a bigger club than us and won more trophies, similar to Mahrez. I think if we were earlier in his career then he might have. There was three consecutive seasons where Vardy scored 20, 18, 23. Him and Kane were both World Class as English strikers and should have played together for the National Team. Mahrez still has the best first touch I've ever seen for Leicester and I doubt I'll ever see better. He could kill a ball dead like Zidane could.

York were relegated when we won the top flight. Now we've been relegated and York promoted, only a league separates us now. Makes you think...

They clearly need the money. Everything that can be pushed as a selling point on us at the minute.

I said this but someone replied to me and said we have a "duty of care". It's the same as when we gave James a new four year deal. Contracts for everyone!

I never expected us to have a big drop off, last time in League 1 we averaged 20k, regardless of ownership. It would be interesting to see what happens if (when) we aren't such a success like we were last time at this level.
