  1. Says a lot about our strength in depth if he makes the starting XI. He should be nowhere near it. Unfortunately for him, he is a scapegoat for our last relegation, and today he justified that with awful positioning, communication and basic goalkeeping skills. Booing won't help but no clearer message to the hierarchy that change, and funds are needed, or back through the relegation trapdoor we go.
  2. Unfortunately the club has a little too much sentimentality for boyhood club players, which clouds their vision. As so many have said before me, and I agree, Kasey is sadly not a Premier League player. For all his endeavour and enthusiasm, he couldn't beat a man against Brighton even if the match lasted three times as long UNPOPULAR OPINION ALERT: But the sentimentality issue can also be said for others in the squad. Hamza Choudhury is another one, and Luke Thomas. Neither of these are Premier League quality, yet still remain at the club probably because they are cheap on the wage front. However, if they are not good enough, move them on for pure profit or simply let them run their contracts out. We are no worse off either way.
  3. Take a point from that game all day long. McAteer and Ayew should never be starting. Kasey can't beat his man and Ayew is practically walking or jogging. The game swung with the substitutions, and if the game had another 5 minutes, we could have ended up winning. Great point against a great side who will be among the European places come May.
  4. Ugh, he's safe again isn't he? FFS.
  5. Shoot. Think he has scored a couple of times. Back in my box. Edit: Collins John in 07/08 a rival for Roman Bednar maybe?
  6. What about Ryan Bennett? He was a disaster.
  7. Just get rid of him in January. We, somewhat, look better without him in the backline. Hardly a rapturous reception when he came on, and West Ham scored afterwards, says it all.
  8. Daka was his usual chaotic self, but deserved the goal for his efforts. Glad he went it alone and took his shot superbly, which will do his confidence the world of good. Too early to put that down to RvN, but I'll take anything right now!
  9. That scoreline doesn't tell the full story, but in all fairness, we had Mads in top form today, both keepers were. It felt like it would be a long match after we scored and West Ham took control. But they were wasteful and we were clinical. That's what separates the sides today. Great start, much to improve defensively but we made our few chances and little possession count. Couldn't say that under Steve Cooper.
  10. Who gave Faes a 2? Generous.
  11. One good thing to come out of this, there have been so few players coming out of this with any credit, it should be a completely different side against West Ham? As far as auditions go for the new manager, this couldn't be much worse. Pathetic. King Power out. Rudkin out. Entire effing board, OUT. Ruud can run this by himself for all I care.
  12. Or Soumare, Ndidi, Thomas, Ayew...
  13. His commentary has been painful at times.
  14. I'm already pissed at this squad after the Copenhagen debacle. Now that Cooper has gone and it is the same sub-standard performance, I'm just convinced more than ever that this lot are collectively abysmal. Ruud hasn't even put them through their paces yet and I've no idea how he will get us out of this mess. Can't wait to hear the boos at the final whistle from the fans that have paid to see this sh*tshow.
  15. Disgusting first half defensive performance.
  16. Doesn't even matter if we score first anymore, we still have a League Two backline who are sure to screw things up. RvN, you're going to be busy.
  17. Where's the party at? Vardy's house?
  18. That pointless 95th minute Ayew penalty will annoyingly put a ridiculous gloss on what was an abysmal performance. That penalty single-handedly changes the post-match club narrative. It would have been seen as a largely-dominant away Chelsea performance where Leicester were never at the races, but now it is a narrow loss. This will undoubtedly give Cooper licence to suggest we were unlucky and deserved something from the game. Steve, the stats suggest the opposite. Just leave already.
  19. 20 people are either trolling on another level or they don't see the shower of sh*te we have seen all season. Unbelievable. Thanks OP, you clearly saw my post on another topic to raise this in the first place. Time to go Coops, and take half the board with you.
  20. It's what you get with a spineless fanbase that say one thing, then do something else. Nothing will change.
  21. Never a pen I'm afraid. More out of desperation that people think it is.
  22. Time for another snap poll?
  23. Salvation lies...another game in the season. Calling a day on this one.
  24. Oh well, that's that. Match stats are little more reflected now. Cooper, be gone.
