Protest march vs Norwich - Sat 28th Feb 2026
Arkie Bennett replied to Dan's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'm always amused when "always back the lads" is touted as a badge of genuine support. I'm 100% certain that when I smile, the whole world does not smile with me. The "always back the lads" line is not some sort of commandment that I have to follow religiously. They are songs sung in football matches, along with many other songs containing hyperbole, inaccuracies, and more than a touch of artistic licence. I'm a fan, but I reserve the absolute right to express frustration and dissatisfaction.- 856 replies

Protest march vs Norwich - Sat 28th Feb 2026
Arkie Bennett replied to Dan's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'm all for the protest, the more simple the better. Large numbers, loud voices, chanting, placards, banners. No personal abuse, no objectionable language or behaviour. The Vichai statue must be absolutely off limits. I can't take seriously the anti-protest posters on Facebook etc. It becomes a contest among themselves about being more of a "real" fan. Similarly with podcasts etc that sometimes become more about the individuals than the subject. This is not about individual fans. It's about harnessing all the fans' growing dissatisfaction with the way the club has been allowed to deteriorate and the unabated free-fall, on and off the pitch. We shouldn't have to be protesting at all, but it's vital that the fans try, as a collective, to influence the direction the club is taking. -
Okoli is in the wrong sport.

Oh well, we can concentrate on the league now.

They're not seagulls, they're vultures.

Yes!!! I can't find a stream. Bugger, found one.

How about sticking a picture of a bottom on every Top you see?

Be named in the Epstein files? Tonight was lower than the many lows we've witnessed. Rudkin, Top, King Power and co are all accountable and have to be removed for the sake of the club's existence.

LCFC 3-4 Southampton, post-match thread
Arkie Bennett replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
I commented on the match thread that it was liquid football in the first half. It was pure liquid poo in the second. Even before they scored we looked timid, characterless and vulnerable, almost as if we expected whatever was coming. King isn't the man for this job, he can't motivate this below-standard, pathetic bunch. -
This is liquid football
-
Surely that was a manufactured headed backpass to their keeper.
-
Looking forward to Winks putting a shift in and unleashing all those defence-splitting attacking passes.

I was there with my now wife. She's a Villa fan. It was surreal for a moment, then frightening. https://youtu.be/VX64oBXsQT0?si=lTYrYXktsAaYPtgq It was an incredible match that Villa won 3-2 from behind.

I think that's technically the correct decision. -

Man City repeatedly showing why the Pepball tactic of playing out from the back is falling out of favour. -
Good to see he gave a shift today.
-
I'm not convinced they'll sell up if we reach the PL; it'll justify their decision-making and management.

Birmingham have always been so amusing with their "who?" chants.

Another stupid red in a non-dangerous area. We have the thickest players.

He scores some cracking goals. Beadle couldn't get a hand to that.
