Bilal El Khannouss loaned to Stuttgart - Official
funkyrobot replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Looks great on the ball, loves a press BUT minimal end product. Buonanotte always looked more dangerous despite trying too hard after RVN arrived and inexplicably benched him. Bilal will probably find it easier in the slower Bundesliga, definitely doesn’t deserve the hype he’s had during this transfer window though. I thought a season in The Championship would’ve done him good. Instead it’s a fantastic opportunity for Rambo, a player with real potential hampered by a terrible injury. -
Aaron Ramsey joins on loan - Official

Wout Faes (Besiktas interest, Fabrizio Romano)
funkyrobot replied to jonny_wright's topic in Transfer Talk
I’m happy for him to stay in The Championship during this window. Good on the ball and he’ll be punished less for mistakes at this level. We need cover until January when maybe big Harry Souttar might be fit again. -
That’s because he wasn’t played in the advance role that Enzo moved him to.

How many before 19.00 BST Monday 1st September?

Fair point Jon. Presumably you took the opportunity to buy a newer faster fax machine so it couldn’t happen again anyway! 🤷🏻♂️ -
But KDH does provide goals and assists!

Out Out Out Out what about In In In ??

People commenting about people commenting in a new thread to say how there shouldn’t be a new thread are hilarious etc -
If it pushes BDCR further down the pecking order it surely has to be a good thing?
-
He’s got a way to go to be better than KDH. I know who I’d prefer in my team -The one from Shepshed!
-
Maresca loaned out VK and Soumare because they didn’t fit his system. El Khanouss does fit Cifuentes’ system. I can’t see him going on loan unless there’s an alternative option coming in. Obviously if he’s transferred with cash we’ll buy an alternative. We need more cover than Page and Alves who seem to be battling to be the principal understudy.
-
If he doesn’t get a move he’ll be back in the team again. Not worth loaning out unless we have a replacement- his wages aren’t that high
-
Despite it being Skipp’s best game, Soumare was still better tonight. Both though are still too negative way way too often. The pair of them together are not the solution going forward but they did the job tonight. Hopefully we’ll get someone during the window.

Ducking out of a tackle - which he could’ve been arguably accused of on Saturday, is nothing to do with ability. He’s more than able at Championship level. His abilities are stand out in midfield at this level. You could argue his mentality at the moment isn’t in a great place but tbh, he had some excellent moments on Saturday. The hate clouds his performance for many as it does when Faes plays. He does a lot of things very well. He is outstanding on the half turn and plays incisive forward passes with regularity. Fact remains he has excellent ability at this level and he is our best midfielder albeit out of a very very limited pool of midfield options.
-
Ability wise Winks is high quality.
-
I thought Hamza was our best outfield player. You could see him reacting and aware of the fans when he was down our end and leading the team. Unlike against Huddersfield he pressed his winger and closed the space much quicker.

Victor Kristiansen (an option for Forest, Percy.)
funkyrobot replied to davieG's topic in Transfer Talk
Yeh definitely this - 100%. I’m that sure he’ll be so so good for Forest that I’ll even drive VK to the City Ground myself and drop him off in their car park. -
Skipp looks to me that he hides on the pitch. Minimal movement off the ball. He’s happy to stay close to his marker and doesn't make much in the way of quick movements away from a marker to receive the ball from our deep builders - the goalie/centre halves or from throw ins. Because of this he doesn’t see much of the ball. Needs to be dropped for Winks.
-
He was our best right back. Cooper did not play him when he was fit. Finally he realised at Ipswich and then threw him into a full game after not giving him game time from preseason onwards. Not playing your best full back alone is mismanaging talent, never mind the injury part.
-
Cooper mismanaged Ricardo, that’s a fact.
-
Why are you that bothered? He seems like a nice lad but showed minimal loyalty. Mads jumped ship at the first chance he could leave just to stay in the Premier League - despite the move being to a pretty desperate PL club that were predicted to struggle this year based on Potter’s record, pundits’ predictions and WHAM’s own fans!
-
Mads stayed on his line for corners. Definitely was his weak link for us. Tbf looking back, his best time for us was when we were by far the best team in The Championship and he could just play with the ball at his feet as a deep mainly short passing pivot.
-
Mads is having an absolute Danny Ward in goal.
-
Maybe we could tempt legendary Leicester and England Captain Gary Wackett out of retirement too
-
Kasey McAteer (gone to Ipswich, official. 12m.)

Don’t underestimate Rudkin, I could see him in a pair of boxfresh sondico, shorts at Cattermole height, possibly sporting a headband working his magic in the number 10 role.
