Everyone was no better than 5/10 at best and that is the recipe for a loss in this league. Poor in defence, lethargic in midfield and toothless up front. -

People seriously want Dycheball ffs?? -
Bit different for Maddison as he was the away player but personally don’t think a badge tap to your old fans is the best thing to do when you are tapping the badge of your new clubs shirt. Particularly when your’re at home, your new team has lost a vital game and you’ve spent most of your time on the pitch doing up your shoelaces.

RVN is paying the price for the utterly disgusting summer that we had prior to his arrival. The retrograde appointment of Cooper and the signings of bang average players like Skipp, BDCR, Okoli & Ayew who don’t improve the first team and are part of a bench with less ability than we had in The Championship are why we are in this position. -
To an extent I get you but patting his Leicester badge and waving to them in front of Leicester fans after the team performance and his less than effective cameo that was mainly remembered for his shoelace battle, isn’t ideal.
-
He did smile and salute the palace fans after he’d hung around chatting with his Palace mates, turning to the away end and patting his heart as they acknowledged him, seemingly forgetting that he was wearing a Leicester shirt😂Not sure whether that was his highlight, or whether it was the ongoing gripping duel with his shoelace foe or his epic lengthy free kick procedure that took 3 minutes and resulted in a gentle kick to their keeper. A truly memorable cameo appearance today.

Nuge played once, JJ played once. Not the same principle. Winks played 10 times. When I say an international footballer I’m saying he has been good enough to represent his country. Winks has demonstrated that over an extended period of time. He’s no mug, he’s more than capable of playing at Premier league level and he’s one of our better players. That’s a fact.

🤫I’ve heard rumours that RVN lives in Gaddesby! 🤫 -
Where have I said let’s not include Ndidi? I’ve just said Winks is not the problem in our squad. Which he isn’t. It’s a positive that potentially when they are all fit (and Ndidi often isn’t) we have 3 good central number 6 position midfielders than can rotate starts in Winks, Ndidi and Soumare.

He has played for England 10 times. He is an international footballer. You can’t disregard a fact just because it contradicts your narrative.

He can if the club he’s going to is in a different cycle for their season. That’s why he’s being linked with the MLS as their new season starts in Feb. -
Picking on the wrong guy in Winks mate. He’s not the problem in our squad. Btw - There’s no player in our team that will have great point stats as we haven’t got many points!
-
He’s definitely premier league quality. He’s an England international and is outstanding on the half turn. He made a couple of mistakes yesterday but he’s definitely not the problem. The style of footballl we play and specifically his role to break through the press is fraught with risk, and despite playing in a struggling side he’s very good at it.
-
So the 3 points he helped us win against Southampton don’t count because he didn’t play the first 45 minutes even though in that first 45 minutes we were poor, particularly in midfield and in the 2nd half we were much better, particularly in midfield?
-
West Ham are a good team? When was that?
-
I thought the overall point you were making was that Winks hasn’t helped us earn many points this season? Otherwise what are you suggesting?
-
Tony Coton was relieved of his job at Man United shortly after watching Mads tbf.
-
Winks changed the game when he was subbed on at half time for Skipp away at Southampton. He was absolutely key in changing a loss into 3 points.
-
It then means we have no right winger (Ayew is not a winger) and we lose Mavididi on the left. He was a key aspect of our attack yesterday and combined well with ELK and Buonanotte. It just moves the problem to the other side.

Should stick with Stolarcyck, he needs games.
