  1. I can't really explain the exact intricacies of this but I feel like while we risk giving the ball away in bad areas, we normally always seem prepared for the ensuing attack. So we 'absorb' shots as such. Not including the Blackburn & Watford goals in that as they were just obviously calamities.
  2. Quite like Freiburg, Jong Ajax and Top Oss tonight. Remember, just to go ahead, freeze them if they do. I reckon one of them will lead.
  3. some drop. From 100% to 40% just like that.
  4. 12:45 Sunday.
  5. Of course, pretty much the worst possible time.
  6. Remember the club giving people free blue scarves with their ticket
  7. Eerste Divisie must be a quite good one. I've not been doing it for long but the point for me is you're just being offered without any doubt a far superior price to what you should be getting. Take the AEK - PAS Giannina game again from the other night. Giannina were 5/1 to go 0-1 up, yet if they took the lead at any point you could freeze them as a winner at 19/1. So you're being offered 19/1 on something that is actually shorter than 5/1 (as they can go behind and go ahead, which they did as it happens). Honestly doing this - you'd be surprised how many high odds sides actually do go ahead. Crazy odds being offered. I genuinely find the harder bit to be picking the other four teams. Ipswich must be even better.
  8. Yep. I honestly don't see how you can lose in the long run. I'm something like £150 up from it and I've just been doing fivers, and I've not even been particularly lucky either - in-fact the ones I've won I've actually not even needed the freeze as they've gone onto win anyway. I've been let down by Chesterfield (1/5) and Panathinaikos (1/6) on other bets for another £400 or so. It's a big loophole. I'm not surprised they've banned me from it but I thought it would take a bit longer. I had all sorts planned.
  9. We were actually quite unlucky with our draws. You compare it to West Ham's run and the fact we were away second each leg too. I think even 2022 Rodgers would've made the final at least with their run.
  10. From Monday they're taking that feature away from me so they say. To be honest I knew they would, it's complete insanity from them, they're literally giving money away but I think I'm more annoyed that I've got on it relatively late. Only been doing it a couple of weeks and they've got me already. I had an absolute sickener on it last night. Went for PAS Giannina at AEK Athens at 19/1, they went behind, then 1-2 up, I go to freeze - they've taken the Greek league off. Everything else has sailed in too. Livid. I'm banned from it from Monday.
  11. They will move games and deny us a promotion / title winning game again like in 2014. Can see it a mile off.
  12. They're losing at Huddersfield. I've seen the script. Could've been a fake but looked pretty real to me.
  13. I completely felt this while still enjoying the trips - mainly because I was that gutted that we'd had it wrongly stolen away from us the season before. It's been weird with Leicester in Europe - pretty much every time we've played in Europe we've been quite bad on the pitch and clearly on the decline. Proper hangover feel. I never at any point during that Conference League run felt we'd win the whole thing.
  14. Sky Bet bagging loads including myself on Accafreeze. No longer allowed to use it from Monday. Great feature... unless you actually have the gall to win money using it. Nobheads.
  15. It is genuinely a shame how disliked Rodgers ended up being and I don't put that on our fans either - he's a very peculiar character. I've had small reservations at times over Maresca but they've never lasted long. He won't get the credit because of who he's managing but he's a very talented and principled coach. I do think the environments he's spent a lot of his playing and coaching career around will only serve him well - one of the main reasons I trust him to see this through.
  16. It's the first win in absolutely ages I've felt genuinely proud watching us. Never quite thought I'd think that of a win over Bournemouth but XI v XI we were big underdogs in that game and we got through it. Though I would say obviously I was proud of the cup final win as well. I think the Liverpool win in December 2021 was of a similar nature. All of them named 1-0 wins. Think it's my Simeone / Mourinho side coming out.
  17. Yeah for a new ground ours is better than most for this. We've retained something by not moving far.
  18. Only if you let it be. There is no doubt in my mind that beating Bournemouth was a net benefit for us. What you lose in fatigue you will gain in confidence and winning mentality - especially given the nature of how we actually won.
  19. Around six months if we win these three games!
  20. Not having Winks there must be a disadvantage for him distribution wise.
  21. These aren't quite as bad as the table suggests as post Ainsworth they've been performing as a midtable, possibly even top half side. But we should still win.
  22. Eighth season in a row we've made a quarter final. I bet probably only Man City can match that.
  23. They've used up a generations worth of hype on beating us this season. They couldn't do it again.
  24. They've used up a generations worth of hype on beating us this season. They couldn't do it again.
  25. What's so good about that for me is that we've really dug in in adversity. It requires a different type of skillset to padding a team we're far superior to or catching a side on a big off day. Bournemouth probably ought to have scored, but I don't think it was anything like a robbery. We've not won a game like that in absolutely ages. To do it with 9 changes is a fantastic effort.
