Just to add further proof to the case for me knowing nothing about football, I thought our full backs would be amongst our strongest positions this season!

He’s £2m, has some attributes we need, we’re going into next season with no first team strikers, he’s shown he can be a goal scorer (in 1 season) and is a decent age. We’re clearly walking around a car boot sale with a fiver in our pocket looking for Faberge egg. Anyone we bring in is going to have flaws, it’s how they adapt that’ll be key.

Played higher up the pitch today, almost a throwback to Enzos 3241 with Ricardo inverting next to Skipp. Probably his best position to be fair, but he needs either help from others or better fitness as he looks done in after 70. Our player of the season though and signing has to be the transfer teams #1 priority.

1-0 up and we ****ed it up. All too familiar a story. For a manager who says he’d always go for a second goal, he sure does like to (very poorly) defend a 1-0 lead. Never quite get it when managers say one thing and appear to do the opposite. So obvious they’d come out second half. Only message at HT is keep it tight and no silly mistakes to take the sting out of it. All out the window after 2mins then it’s inevitable we crumble. Frustrating really as we played some great stuff first half.
