ScouseFox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 So if he'd done that to Cambiasso you wouldn't be screaming for a red? Cambiasso wouldve controlled it with his head and ping it straight back
Brooksy Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 So if he'd done that to Cambiasso you wouldn't be screaming for a red? See my sig
st albans fox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 So when we beat west brom , some were saying they might not get another point. I think this is 11 now! Hope we won't be involved in a relegation scrap next year but if we are, hopefully most will note that teams get results late in the season that they wouldn't earlier. We are a prime example.
Gary Eatfood Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Cambiasso wouldve controlled it with his head and ping it straight back True, what about our Jeff though?
Jaspa Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 In what way didn't he have control? He let them all prance around like twats, when they were done he sent the right man off, went to the 4th official to make sure everything was in order. Good reffing. He had no authority over them in the heat of the moment, he let the two problem players in McAuley and Costa bicker while he stood to the side where McAuley eventually went over to him. Bickering continued with Costa and some other players and then Cesc sent the ball in - He shouldve pulled the two players out and dealt with them but instead he let it simmer. He only reacted when Cesc made him. He let Fletcher off. Thats not control
ScouseFox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 True, what about our Jeff though? He probably wouldn't even notice it tbh

You get the Collina's who will get involved but there was a bunch of players from each team and it wasn't really getting out of hand. Nothing really came of it either so not that big a deal regardless.
Guest Papasmurf Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 So when we beat west brom , some were saying they might not get another point. I think this is 11 now! I was talking to some Baggies fans in the boozer afterwards and they didn't see how they were going to get another point either.
fuchsntf Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Lucky WBA, we and Palace did the hard graft, and they get the awards...
Jaspa Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 But on a positive note for him, he didn't give a pen for handball ! Yeah, I spose his previous might've made my mind up abit Fair enough, I don't think a lot of refs are like that. You get the Collina's who will get involved but there was a bunch of players from each team and it wasn't really getting out of hand. Nothing really came of it either so not that big a deal regardless. There was abit of fiestyness there with Costa previously. The Collinas and even the Webbs can sense danger though, they know when to run in and pull players off eachother or bark in their face briefly; hell even a look is all they need. This guy has none of that, not saying he's completely incompetent, Im sure Ive seen him spot things I never wouldve
ScouseFox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Well he cannot have given it for anything else? yeah i know that is the official ruling, always funny to see it written down though. there was nothing violent about it. just kicked a ball in frustration.
Unabomber Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Actually I do have a clue, I've done kickboxing and I know what good punches are all about, it isn't just flailing your arms. I've seen more exciting fights than that at the clock tower. This
Jaspa Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Write that off as their Brighton. Although West Brom do deserve a mention, their fans were doom and gloom after Vardy had a bash there. Ten points off the drop, still did well and scored a couple of decent goals. Seeing how Pulis invests will be interesting next season
Corky Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 Just realized it's Mike Jones reffing, shame it didn't hit him in the face and break his nose/jaw Should've given a penalty against Brunt.
