Agree with Dan. While an offer of £15m would be crazy money for Vardy, there's no other player like him imo. What he can bring is working wonders in our system.

While we've done well with our scouting system previously, Mahrez being an example. I think people are getting too carried away. The very best talents will be scouted by many big clubs, not just ours.

Why would Berahino want to move from WBA to Leicester? If he moves it'll be to the big 6. No-one is questioning that there are very good players (better than Vardy) out there with a price tag of 20m or less but you have to find one that their club wants to sell and who wants to come to Leicester - that's without talking about wages!

It's the pace that makes Vardy the threat he is. Without the pace Vardy is in the low leagues or non-leagues.

Correct, if they exist,  we don't know about them. If we did they'd be at Leicester. If they cost 400k then we can buy 10 without even thinking of selling anyone.

Of course I don't know, I barely know who our U21's are let alone an expert on the Uruguayan league.

 

In fairness it's not my job to know and I'm not expecting a call from the club to ask me my opinion any time soon. The club has extensive data and networks on which FW we would like if we needed one.

 

I read in The Sun today that Tottenham are lining up a £12m bid for a 21 year old Lyon player dubbed the next Samuel Etoo, that's what £12m can buy so to refuse £20m would be insane. Leicester City are richer than ant club in South America and we know that continent traditionally produces world class players year in year out. There's not many clubs in South America who would turn down a £20m bid for any of there players. That money would just about buy you any player on that continent.

Seriously tho £20m is a lot of money and as said before shakies contacts in France etc and the cost we could prob get for good business ? Trouble is I don't think I'd like to see the lads go to be fair they've played well last season and I don't believe they are one season wonders in the prem that is certainly what arsenal and villa think !
