It is three idiots playing for a high profile club who thought it would be clever to behave like chimps in a country they are guests on an all expenses paid trip by our thai owners. Its disrespectful to so many people. The fact they filmed it and sent it out was to humiliate those women and the language they used towards them is gross to say the least. It says an awful lot about society these days when people are trying to justify it.

Ok yeah there obviously prostitutes but there still Thais and for that fact it looks shocking on the club. If that had been 3 regular lads on a holiday in magaluf no one would of gave a crap but it isn't, it's 3 young lads representing your club and the fact one is the managers son makes it worse in my opinion. I hope the Thais arnt put under pressure to go but I think it's a possibility. Anyway eat sh@t love

Just because you are mature enough to resist a naked girl chucked into your hotel room, don't assume a twenty two year old chap will also make such a well informed decision - we also have no idea if drink was involved. These guys were behaving as most of their age in a place like Bangkok would. Whether you think that's morally right or wrong doesn't alter the fact that it goes on all the time over there. I have no idea if they have partners. If so, they are dickeads anyway. Their treatment of the women is unacceptable. As far as I am concerned, their crime is to be abusive and, in one instance, racist towards the women. to film the event is crass stupidity but let's face it, they didn't make a career choice between football and medicine. The owners will have to decide what they do re their brand and club image. Luckily, they didn't have king power t shirts on! I'm trying not to be dismissive but would this be a story if A) they weren't pro footballers B) one of them wasn't person's son When I'm in the region, I see these girls and I think about their families etc. what would their dad think to see his daughter having to do such a job. A polite 'not for me, sorry' usually suffices. however, the girls generally throw themselves at you and I am old enough to realise that they don't do this willingly 90% of the time. Does a guy in his early twenties think like that? Does he even think about the girls' state of mind? As far as he is concerned, if she doesn't care who she is having sex with, why should he care about her self esteem. young footballers do stupid things. Not all end up in the papers. Perhaps the club would have been better to have shown the players a short education film about the plight of sex workers in the region. Then they may have had second thoughts. I +1'd one of Japan's comments but also agreed with most of what you were saying, you made plenty of good points. As for the highlighted part it's all age ranges of men that pay women for sex, not just the young un's. As you say, a small percentage of sex workers probably do it because they want to, but most won't be doing so. I can't imagine having a mind where I thought it was normal to be in those situations and can't imagine having sex with a lady who you must know doesn't really want to be doing that. To the blokes who use prostitutes I would suggest you think hard and try to get back the kind soul you were born with and banish the corrupted thoughts that society, tv and the media have implanted in you that make you think that it is normal. HARK.

Take your post where you said if you went to Thailand you'd do the same except the racism. What that says is that you'd happily degrade and abuse a Thai but you wouldn't do it at home.
