I would imagine that any disciplinary action will be carried out by 'personnel staff' and because of Pearson's relationship he'll have nothing to do with it. What he does or says outside of the club to his son is something else.

It will be damaging but I'm not so sure it will be extremely damaging, providing the club deal with it swiftly and effectively. If they get away with anything but a sacking then potentially yes, it might seriously damage the clubs reputation. Unfortunately, players do stupid things sometimes and the club has almost nothing to with that. We can save face by disassociating* ourselves with these twats as quickly as possible. * I realise that NP will have a job disassociating himself with his own son - as much as he might want to right now.
