Two games that spring to mind last season were Arsenal and Man City away in which he played the lone role. Scored one and should of had another against Arsenal and played well and should of had a penalty at Man City. I agree he plays better in a two but if we have to play one up top he would get my vote.

shailen Posted 11 June 2015 Posted 11 June 2015 I've always said there is no number 1 strike partnership for me. All of these players will come in and out of form and they all give us something different. I would start with Ulloa and Vardy assuming we play the same system. They linked up well towards the end of the season. It's funny how the general consensus changed from Ulloa to Vardy to Nugent to Kramaric to Nugent to Vardy/Ulloa as our best striker. Despite Vardy getting an England start it is not clear cut who our best striker is. Like I've said they will all play a role next season as they have this season.

Like to think we'll be building around a 3 at the back / 5 with wing backs system for next season, and a secondary option for when it inevitably gets found out. Mahrez / Nugent / Kramaric are all going to be fighting for the last spot IMO.

Ollie93 Posted 12 June 2015 Posted 12 June 2015 I'd like to see us start next season with how we finished last with a 3-5-2 wing back system. Eventually that will get found out so we need a plan B, I think a 4-2-3-1, turning into a 4-5-1 when defending would work. Especially with Fuchs.
