Carl the Llama Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Oh, come on! You need post #2161 before a new page starts. Â If you post an arbitrary message I'll do the same to take us over the edge.Â
ktfox59 Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Think I know who you mean....Used to have a shedload of 1p & 2p forecast doubles. When he bet on the night dogs he'd be on the door at 10AM next morning.....Used to moan like fook about having to wait for the infinate calculations to be made ....What's more, he used to do his own calculations about how much he should be getting; maths wasn't his strongest subject and he'd always, always contest the amount of returns! thats him without a doubt. Kept his money in little bag. Those 1 and 2p fc and rfc every combo. Took an eternity to decipher his slip. Had a nick name. Cant remember what it was. In my head had a special one for him. I was on payout there. Remember Tax it Price it from same shop. Worked on railway.
fox_favourite Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Geeze!! My thumb now hurts after scrolling through this page!!

Carlos88LCFC Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Nice to see this topic is screaming of banter today.

wigstonboues Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Picked up owners helicopter on flight radar app. It flew into Gatwick and then took off and it was last seen going over London. Lost signal when it was just by luton . If you live south of the training ground you might see it coming in shortly. Could well be the arrival to make announcement.
Foreverfox Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Ranieri best price 5/1 now and only 9/4 on the echanges. With MON at odds against now on exchanges. A big move in the last hour or so has saw the tinkerman been backed in from as high as 20/1.Yet another twist Here we go again!

A big move in the last hour or so has saw the tinkerman been backed in from as high as 20/1.Yet another twist Here we go again! Yep, quite strange. No information anywhere that I could find that's driving this. I guess if someone got wind that Leicester had contacted him it would be highly significant given that Ranieri himself had expressed an interest.
Frank to be Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Seems like the bookies were expecting official word of interest from or for MON but since they've heard nothing they're bringing other possibilities back into play. That's my read anyway. If we've learned anything these last few days it's that the odds are telling us nothing.
Wymsey Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 FFS, just get ANYONE decent in. Â It appears once we're in contact with someone, it doesn't work out and move on to someone else. Â
Carl the Llama Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Yep, quite strange. No information anywhere that I could find that's driving this. I guess if someone got wind that Leicester had contacted him it would be highly significant given that Ranieri himself had expressed an interest. Simply put, as one favourite lasts the day without being hired, people get restless and start lumping elsewhere meaning the odds shorten and a new 'favourite' emerges the next day and so on. Â First it was Guus, then Lennon, then Preki, then Martin, and now it's Ranieri. Â If I've learned anything this week it's that the bookies have no effing clue what's what.
Guest LCFC_World Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 I was thinking.. Lets say we got 20 or so people to stick £1 on a random manager on the bottom of the list, lets say Sam Allardyce at 33/1 (Sky Bet), and see if he becomes favorite.. Just a test to see how it would manipulate the market. Or if we want to make some Leicester fans panic do the test but with Sean Dyche Â

If we all pile small sums onto one manager then that managers odds would collapse while all the others would drift out. Then we could quickly bet on the others at high odds. Not sure how legal that is though.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Yes I'm bored at work with nothing better to do. No, none of them!Â

ktfox59 Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 No, none of them! What? Not one off that list? . Tbh i would think 95% of the list were never ever close to even being given a seconds consideration
Matt Posted 11 July 2015 Posted 11 July 2015 Ranieri a shade of odds on at 10/11 MON out to 6/4. Â This is getting tedious now.
