zak_lcfc Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Whatever happens with the manager this week, so much money will have been lost. Could you imagine the feeling if you lumped a lot of money of Preki when his odds went ridiculous? Manipulation of the markets has been mental. The bookies must be loving it, shorten a price on anybody and everybody goes crazy about it, each day it's a new person

You've got to be a bit of a numpty to 'lump on' any next manager market, haven't you? I mean a few quid on this name or that... but any more and you're asking for trouble, surely.

These manager markets often are. I remember the Rep of Ireland one when Trappatoni got the job, there were something like 7 or 8 odds on shots beaten.

I think the odds have jumped so massively because no big money has actually gone on until yesterday. A couple of £50 bets make the odds tumble.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 The bookies must be loving it, shorten a price on anybody and everybody goes crazy about it, each day it's a new person Exactly, it's became such a circus. It's like now, all these rumours about 4 figure bets being placed on MON, what if it ends up with someone else getting it? The bookies could be into fortunes.
weller54 Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Odds shortening on Filbert the fox In all fairness he was always in the hunt!
Foreverfox Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Odds against now on the exchanges for MON don't think our saga is quite finished yet. There is another twist I feel coming up.
Carl the Llama Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Camacho coming in now, from nowhere. No PL experience, non-starter.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 An Ostrich is quoted at 500/1, to take over at Leicester. Don't know which bookmaker, but it was just announced on BBC. True!
justfoxes Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Wish MON would just be left as history. Was thinking the same after seeing his glory days I would hate him to come back here and not do as well !!Would like to see Ranieri get the job think he would do us well !
justfoxes Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Odds shortening on Filbert the fox What are the odds on Little Bernie could you not just see that little blue and white face and jesters hat in the dugout blasting out his orders ?!!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Ostrich now at 250/1 from 500/1 Oh bugger, I was going to stick a tenner on it. It be 100/1 by tomorrow morning.
Jordan Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Just saw that SkyBet has Robert Warzycha at 33/1. interesting to see his name there. He's the former Poland international, former Columbus Crew manager and current Gornik Zabrze manager. He had Gornik doing all right but the club is a bit of a mess.
whoareyaaa Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 everyone on the forum stick a fiver on the Ostrich!
foxes_rule1978 Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 everyone on the forum stick a fiver on the Ostrich!Risky, I haven't seen his CV but heard great things... got potential but a going on someone so young and inexperience is always a risk..

Perhaps someone got a possible MLS link wrong with Preki. Wonder if there will be any movement on those odds.
Bagworthblue Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 can't be arsed to read back - has anyone pointed out Camacho has entered the odds at 20-1

FireFox Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 So was the Di Matteo rumor just bs? Only him and Gourvennec really get me excited.
escos Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 Camacho coming in now, from nowhere. Some bloke on Twitter earlier was tweeting the bookies saying he had inside info that he was going to be our manager. He was asking for odds, so I guess it came from that.
Bagworthblue Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 So was the Di Matteo rumor just bs? Only him and Gourvennec really get me excited. really? For me it's Natalie Portman
Bagworthblue Posted 10 July 2015 Posted 10 July 2015 sad - are we the Friday night in with the kids sad no life crew?
