Next Leicester City Manager Odds

So we know from several sources that the Thai's want a manager with Premiership experience.  We also know from Albert that someone was interviewed today (not O'neill)

I would assume as we haven't heard any club allowing their manager to speak to us, that the manager interviewed is not currently manager of a club.

A guess, but a reasonable one would be it being Di Matteo who was interviewed. He ticks the boxes anyway.

I think he is a risk but an exciting one to take. Young, experienced and desperately trying to prove he is a top manager.

If O'neill says no, then watch Di Matteo's odds drop massively...

I wish I was hung like a donkey unfortunately I'm hung like a maggot

Really we didn't need or want to know that!!  Poor boy, no wonder you have rage issues.

Agree with all that.  A guy on Bentleys has said that Di Matteo was in town last week - and that ties up with what Albert said, about someone being interviewed then.  I guess O'Neill is first choice and Di Matteo, second, with him being lined up if MO'N turns us down.

I'm not really a gambler but I look at odds to try to figure out what is going on.

On the Betfair Exchange, (I don't know what this is btw) which people have said is a good indicator, O'Neill's odds are now drifting.

How significant is this?

In the Racing Post it says the Leicester manager market has been very volatile, more than usual

Does that mean no-one knows what is happening and it's lots of shots in the dark?

Just drifted more.  Now at 4/5.

might mean there was nothing in yesterdays and everyone got carried away. does seem odd they shot in and are now drifiting out. maybe its not as far along as we thought?

The reason I don't take notice of 'sizable bets' being placed on managers is because footballers earn 200k in one month. Often more. I know they can't place bets directly but they can easily get someone else to go in a bookies for them. Four figure bets is a drop in the ocean for them. And we all know how much footballers love to gamble.

The entire betfair market is worth 40k

That's going to be larger than any single high St bookie (I think)

Therefore, a four figure bet is going to stand out like a sore thumb and if the odds were more than 10/1, would probably be knocked back

Bookies keep a log of bets now and suspicious patterns are easy to pick up on such a small market as a 'next manager'

when working in bookies in leicester one of your regulars will always be Julian joachim

I can't read Julian Joachim without my brain adding Jr Shabadoo now.

I know but footballers have more money than sense and have money to waste.
