Great goals, monumental derbies, nail-biting final days of all the season, we’ve got it all covered. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We are involved 3 times - Bergkamp's hatrick, the capitulation at Wolves and the Man U 5-3. The 5-3 is currently 3rd in the 'Top Ten' - not sure why Kompany's header is above Aguerrroooooooooooooo and arguably the 5-3. https://www.premier-league-moments.com/top-ten
ScouseFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 surprised we're so high up with that. would've had so many ahead of us, but i guess more recent ones are gonna get more votes. kompany one is weird.
One Legged Beaver Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 I genuinely don't even remember that Kompany header. Just bizarre that it's first.
Kitchandro Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Fair play us being 3rd. From a neutral perspective Aguero's goal was the best, Kompany's header would get nowhere near the top. Bound to be some extreme bias for the fashionable clubs and the more recent things if it's down to a vote. Hence why Tony Adams and Gerrard slipping over are in the top 10. Surely if Bergkamp's hat-trick is in there it's the game as a whole? That was just one part of an incredible game, we scored twice in stoppage time ffs! And where's 'It's bending IT'S IN!!!'
ealingfox Posted 19 July 2015 Author Posted 19 July 2015 Im sure the order will change given that this was only put up today but its weird that Kompany's header is even just an early frontrunner. Yeah it was a huge moment in a mad title race but looking at some of the other stuff on there I would struggle to get it in my top 20.
bovril Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 I have to say I did love the Palace Liverpool game last season.
Fox92 Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 What Kompany header? I imagine they mean Kompany's header against Manchester United? Remember it so clear because I had Manchester City to win 1-0 that day
Fox92 Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Van Persie's hatrick at Stamford Bridge was class. Watched that game in the concourse at West Ham away, if I recall correctly.
AKCJ Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 I imagine they mean Kompany's header against Manchester United? Remember it so clear because I had Manchester City to win 1-0 that day Yeah just seen it again. It's a 6 yard header because of abysmal defending. Not the best advert for your "greatest league in the world", Sky...
ScouseFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 tbf they do call it the "most exciting league in the world" now instead of the "best", which is a much better description.
SystonFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Aguerrrrroooooooo is the only one worthy of winning
Stadt Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Yeah Agueroooooooo hands down I was celebrating for some reason
SystonFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Not gonna lie me too mate. I'd rather city won the league that day than Yanited. Still enjoy that short vine of the Yanited fans away at Sunderland that woman's face when she hears the Aguerrrrooooo moment just occurred and stops clapping. TEARS
Stadt Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 it was before city were whack and silva and aguero and yaya were just being class every game
ScouseFox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 think im voting leeds get relegated as my favourite moment
darko2k7 Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Forgot just how good that Yeboah goal against Wimbeldon was , amazing strike !
ozleicester Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 teehee.. celebrating 23 years.. twenty three? Joke!.... everyone knows the big celebration comes in the 32nd year
aussie-fox Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 i always thought shearers hatrick against us in 13 mins back in 1997? to win 4-3 was a special premier league moment. For us not so good but that freekick he hit at the edge of the box would have killed someone if it hit them.
