GaelicFox Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 In the history of the Premier league When it comes to starting the season badly - Im afraid ourselves and West brom sit firmly at the top of this stat. we Both have only registered one win from their nine opening day fixtures - resulting in a woeful win ratio of 11.11 per cent. Last season We began life back in the top flight with a 2-2 draw at home to Everton can we buck this trend when we entertain Sunderland tomorrow ????
promised land Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Why have spurs and everton played one less game than the other 5 teams who have never been outside the Prem? It does say weekend table.
Stuntman_Mike Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Couldn't this have just gone in the Sunderland match thread?

Trav Le Bleu Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Hang on... when did Everton and Spurs not have a first week game in the Premiership? That table is tosh!
GaelicFox Posted 7 August 2015 Author Posted 7 August 2015 Why have spurs and everton played one less game than the other 5 teams who have never been outside the Prem? It does say weekend table. Everton ans Spurs would have played a game more but their 2011-12 opener at Tottenham was postponed due to the London riots that were taken place in that part of the city at the time. Hang on... when did Everton and Spurs not have a first week game in the Premiership? That table is tosh! See above not tosh at all Solved

Sir Shep Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Yeah but we have 14 games in hand over Chelsea so we should be alright.

shailen Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 Watford, Bournemouth, Palace, Stoke, West Brom, Norwich and Southampton have a worse average than us.
GaelicFox Posted 7 August 2015 Author Posted 7 August 2015 Watford, Bournemouth, Palace, Stoke, West Brom, Norwich and Southampton have a worse average than us. The stat is win % Ours and west Brom are worse of those with a reasonable number of attempts on opening day .... Obviously Watfords is 0% win rate but have had only two goes It's a silly stat , but for betting purposes it's interesting

GaelicFox Posted 7 August 2015 Author Posted 7 August 2015 Miserable tw@t. I hope you're not going tomorrow. Ok turning the results and stats in our favour , if we look at POINTS PER GAME PLAYED we would we 12th and in mid table safety So let's focus on that ha ha ha
GaelicFox Posted 7 August 2015 Author Posted 7 August 2015 Sunderland’s record of only ten goals scored in 14 matches suggests they are slow starters and We may be able to take advantage tomorrow
