Well, it wasn't bad in the family stand and at times was pretty loud, but then then family stand in P1 near to the away stand always has more atmosphere than the kop.

There was a bloke sat near me last night aswell who did NOTHING but moan. Heard him about 4/5 times and all I heard was him either calling us shit or moaning at a player. Didn't get up and clap when one of the lads came off when subbed, had absolutely NO involvement in any of the songs, and as the final whistle went he was straight out of the door looking miserable as fvck. Why bother coming? If you're one of these people, please just stay away.

I had two absolute clowns behind me that I haven't seen all season. All they did was moan that we were shit and should be playing much better. They slated Drinky too. One of the negative side effects of having such a successful team is that we get glory hunter idiots that don't even know anything about how the game is played let alone what our players have been doing all season.

Impossible to create atmosphere without some away fans to shout 'who are ya' at, to be fair.

Was surprised at the reduced Newcastle following, last seasons two home games packed the away end, last night it looked only half full if that.

I was in the Family Stand and I thought the atmosphere was reasonably good. The Ranieri taking us to Europe chant at the start wasreally loud.

I think the tense nature of the game means that some people go into their shell a bit but it was still pretty good down our end

They're shit, it's a long way to come on a Monday night (absolute trash time for football), its on TV.

No way we'd have taken 2000 up there on a Monday TV fixture if our league positions were reversed

What was the song Union FS were singing at the end of the game with the slow drum beat?

I was gonna say the Ngolo chant but not so sure now.

The atmosphere was very good in parts I thought but as already stated there were times where the ground was quieter. It was a narrow tense match which probably explains why it was less vocal/loud.

Having said that, I can see the argument that it's at those times where your team is defending and holding on, when the fans need to support the players the most.

Leicester boys are we, pride of our city

In good times and in bad, we always back the lads,

Now we want to win the league!

It was grand , I agree not an issue really

The team were poor and I think the fans out performed ten team , and that's always a great thing

Most away ground I have been to that's not always the case with other home teams

I'd say it was average last night.

Regarding Ranieri trying to drum up the crowd, he's been doing it for weeks now, surprised people have only just noticed. Don't think he's trying to suggest that we're poor, more that he's looking for that extra push to help get the team over the finish line.

They are being used less and less every game now, they put songs out of time and they don't start songs. I honestly don't think there would be that much difference. The top examples I can think of when it's been really loud this season have all been songs which didn't involve clapping.

Yea fair comment on the usage levels but they still offer something and people forget how bad the atmosphere was prior to them being introduced

Some people love em and some people hate em

I think they are great and long may they stay

But i understand why people might not like them

i think that moment and the celebration against norwich and there's a few others i can't think of in recent weeks just show how much he wants to win the league. when he's away from the sky camera/interviews he really shows a different side to his "attitude".

"we're all just having fun, we've stayed up, we've already won our league"

changes to really needing to win, and moments like that are just to release tension that he is probably feeling as much as the fans.

Please no , don't start on the fkn clsppers again. Fck all to do with clappers it was about nerves, tension, apprehension , just read twitchy arsed comments in numerous pre match threads!

Moaning about clappers, elements of performance or the atmosphere alters absolutely nothing. Just supporting the team in the best/loudest and whatever way you choose is the way forward surely? Let's accept head in hands and quieter moments will occur more the nearer the moment gets. COYB
