It's football, if u dont get, it dont go, simple ... Love the banter with away fans

I do get it - I've been going down City as a ST holder since '88. What I don't get is why you think kids getting hurt is an inconvenience to your "bants".....

I was hit in the eye by a 2p  at villa park, on the Holt End in the fa cup semi v Spurs - does that count as proving they are all wrong 'uns?

It got taken down.

Was a video taken from the away end of all the clappers and a few other bits being lobbed from the Family stand into the Spurs fans.

Oh right. Two wrongs don't make a right however the family stand retaliated throwing clappers, Spurs throwing coins.. massive difference didn't see any bottles my self

The bottom line is, nobody should be throwing anything into the opposing end full stop. Doesn't matter whether its a glass bottle or cardboard clapper - someone could still get hurt if it got you in the eye. Some people really need to grow up if they think its acceptable.

The behaviour of football fans in general is just shocking. Quite sad that people cant just go to a game of football and cheer on their team without hurling missiles at the opposing fans. Its even worse when its fully grown adults that should know better. No problem with having a laugh but when people actually feel the need to pick something up and throw it at people then quite simply they need to look at themselves and realise how much of a c*** they are acting.

A few chants and general pisstake (banter as people call it) i have no problem with but violence and throwing missiles just makes you a scumbag

I suggest you look up the figures on arrests at football matches.

Why? I refer to all types of behaviour not just ones that people are arrested for. Football fans hate other fans of certain clubs for ridiculous reasons (myself included, i fall foul to it when really we shouldnt). Compare that to Rugby fans who 'in general' get along and are happy to see a good rugby match and sit together.

Yea let's all be Rugby fans and sanitize the atmosphere!

Throwing stuff IS stupid. I don't understand the impulse to do it, but let's calm down a bit aye? I've confidence in the authorities to arrest any suspects with the aid of CCTV. The clappers probably not so much as they are relatively harmless.

A 10-year-old Leicester City fan was injured and away fans were pelted with plastic bottles, key rings and coins during Saturday's match at the King Power Stadium.

The young supporter needed treatment from first-aiders after being hurt by an object thrown from the away end during City's match against Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs fans, including a 58-year-old woman, complained of being hit by a "deluge" of objects and sprayed by liquid as home fans celebrated city's late equaliser.

A spokesman for the North London club said their security officer had received a number of complaints from travelling fans.

He said: "We would like to talk to Leicester City to see if those responsible can be identified."

A Leicester City spokesman said they were reviewing CCTV images with the police and would take the strongest action against any one involved who can be identified.

Tottenham fan Hazel Freeman said a number of children on both sides were frightened by what happened before the stewards and police intervened.

Mrs Freeman said: "In 26 years of following my team, I have never encountered anything like what occurred at this game.

"Something needs to be done to prevent this from happening again as serious injury could have been caused."

Mrs Freeman, who is from Northamptonshire, was with her husband on the edge of the away section.

She said: "Leicester equalised within a minute of Tottenham scoring and at this point, a large number of Leicester fans hurled a barrage of plastic bottles, programmes and coins at us.

"I was struck on the shoulder by a half-full bottle of pop and the lady behind me was also struck.

"People were ducking and diving to avoid being hit by objects. The whole thing was terribly disturbing and for a short while I felt panicky.

"There were several children in both the home and away areas and one child seated in the home fans area was visibly frightened."

She said there were only a handful of stewards on the steps between the groups.

"Immediately after it happened, the police were brought into the area," Mrs Freeman said.

Others among the 3,000 away fans complained about being hit by plastic bottles.

Leicester City fans on the Foxes Talk website described objects being thrown from away supporters.

One wrote: "A missile was launched into a group of children and their parents by the Spurs fans which hit a boy directly on the head resulting in him being treated by St Johns Ambulance staff."

A spokeswoman for the police said no Spurs fans had registered a complaint. However, she said: "A 10-year-old home supporter was hit by an unidentified object thrown by a Spurs fan.

"The child was treated for minor injuries."

A Leicester City spokesman said : "We are aware of disturbances that took place during Saturday's game and swift action was taken to restore order between supporters of both clubs. We are reviewing CCTV footage with Leicestershire Police and will take the strongest possible action against any perpetrators identified."

That's funny. They were just pissed as they were still celebrating lol I thought all the objects thrown were in good spirit and added to the atmosphere.
