Charl91 Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 I would certainly be happy to let Pearson manage our club again. Was an honour to have the man as manager.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 What a decent, principled and likeable man. A shame we can't say the same for his two-faced former employers.
Dr The Singh Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 I would certainly be happy to let Pearson manage our club again. Was an honour to have the man as manager. After his comments about his son, it can never happen
Wymsey Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 There's still question marks over whether Shakespeare and Walsh will move on when Pearson gets another club. I don't think they will, as they're the backbone of our success (being honest) and they'll themselves might be hesitant to leave a club that is really on the up.
Dr The Singh Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 What a decent, principled and likeable man. A shame we can't say the same for his two-faced former employers. Why are they 2 faced?
GaelicFox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Hardly an interview sounds like a sound bite at the conference to a journo Top championship manager , best of luck to Him
GaelicFox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 What a decent, principled and likeable man. A shame we can't say the same for his two-faced former employers. really pearson is as oddball as he is likeable He is edgy and fixated and I'm gussing hard to get to really know So people really judging his employers as two faced and him as adorable is quite a leap either way Tosh really But I wish him well he did plenty of good things here
Izzy Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 And so it begins again....the Pearsonite vs non Pearsonite debate
Sharpe's Fox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Why are they 2 faced? They let Pearson give the go ahead on signings and footballing operations long after the end of the season and Rimgate right up to preseason, going on to relieve him of his duties by a phone call. In my eyes a gross act of cowardice.
Izzy Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 I'll give it about 30 mins till a Mod sees this thread and locks it

In my eyes a gross act of cowardice.Maybe they didn't want to be choked or verbally attacked , not cowardice...just good risk assessment The guy is half nuts
GaelicFox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 I'll give it about 30 mins till a Mod sees this thread and locks it ****ing fun 30 mins though , beats waiting for the freebview on the adult channel

In my eyes a gross act of cowardice. I agree with you, its not the best way to be sacked but, Pearsons sacking is justified all the same
Sharpe's Fox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Maybe they didn't want to be choked or verbally attacked , not cowardice...just good risk assessment The guy is half nuts If you have that opinion after the five and a half years Nigel Pearson had at the helm at the club the I can only conclude you are a moron. You spout the nonsense of tabloid newspapers.

In my eyes a gross act of cowardice. I'm sure this is a serious debate but the phrase 'Rimgate' just makes me piss myself
Sharpe's Fox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 I agree with you, its not the best way to be sacked but, Pearsons sacking is justified all the same Nobody knows the true reason behind his sacking, so I'll base my opinion on the fact that every season Nigel Pearson was at the club it finished in a higher position.
Guest Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 haha my first thought was why has he broken 3 months of "silence" by giving a few quotes to the daily star?! thought it'd be a full feature interview with the telegraph like normal. that'd be good. Very surprised by this yeah. I suppose he may not be allowed contractually to say too much just yet. Hopefully he writes a book one day.
Izzy Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Hopefully he writes a book one day. "Ostriches, rimjobs, strangulations and other tales" by Nigel Pearson
ScouseFox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Very surprised by this yeah. I suppose he may not be allowed contractually to say too much just yet. Hopefully he writes a book one day. yeah there'll be more to come I'd imagine, especially if he stays out of a job. that read like he had a lot more to say but wasn't sure how or when to say it. like i said is it henry winter that does all the great interviews with him? he'd be the one he'll go to when the time is right probably.
GaelicFox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 If you have that opinion after the five and a half years Nigel Pearson had at the helm at the club the I can only conclude you are a moron. You spout the nonsense of tabloid newspapers. Ha ha ha.....what is it with people , you offer a solid alternative view and your a moron , seriously you must be a boring tool to have a pint with The guy is a couple a sweets short of a dolly mixture , that doesn't mean he is not a good guy just makes him a little unpredictable and probably hard to manage ...after all the owners and THIER advisors mange him Not only that he wasn't and never will be a top premier league manager , he is excellent at his level But city are trying to get to the next level
dylanlegend Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 But he wasn't actually trying to challenge or remove himself of the situation. I think its shameful of the Pearson family to try to defend his actions in this way Get over it! His son wasn't even racist. saying its "shameful" is a ridiculous comment to make; as his son wasn't actually "racist"
GaelicFox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Nobody knows the true reason behind his sacking, so I'll base my opinion on the fact that every season Nigel Pearson was at the club it finished in a higher position. What was the real reason ???
GaelicFox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 Get over it! His son wasn't even racist. saying its "shameful" is a ridiculous comment to make; as his son wasn't actually "racist" There is no evidence he was racist , unprofessional yes not racist....well that's ON The 120 seconds or so we saw
GaelicFox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 yeah there'll be more to come I'd imagine, especially if he stays out of a job. that read like he had a lot more to say but wasn't sure how or when to say it. like i said is it henry winter that does all the great interviews with him? he'd be the one he'll go to when the time is right probably. That's not an interview someone caught him on the hop I'm surprised he hasn't a confidentiality agreement to accompany his pay-off
