Rugby World Cup 2015

I understand why you'd be cynical but no, not true at all.

I'm getting really tired with what's probably my least favourite sight in rugby at the moment: scrum halves with the ball in touching distance at the back of a scrum, able to play it but waiting in hope that the ref us going to give a penalty. Just play the ****ing ball.

I think refs need to be strong, aim to keep the game flowing and let the players know that they are not going to fall for penalty seeking behaviours, but I agree that it's not easy.

The problem for refs in the current rules is that they have a dilemma. They can give reset after reset and bore us all to tears or make snap decisions and just award penalties to whoever they think was on top.

It's one of the few times I end up agreeing with Brian Moore who just ends up repeating "how the bell can the ref possibly make a decision there?" and I honestly believe he can't and that the answer is just that they guess quite frankly.

Back to this game: I take it back, this isn't a different Wales, it's the same old Wales. Boring and predictable. In which case Lancaster is a rugby genius, got his tactics spot on. Front up, be solid, Wales will run out of ideas.

Going to take something special from some Williams or other to win this.

George who?

Everytime I hear swing low sweet chariot I get shivers. It's so stirring. I've had to put a jumper on because they're singing it again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and

Generally yes, but even you have to concede that England were pretty dominant in quite a few of those scrums which ended in penalties.

Seems a bit more even up front this half.

The one that drifted off to the right yes. The one that wheeled, you're telling me only Wales were wheeling that? How does he even tell, cmon?

The first one, how is that any more an England penalty than the third or fourth one that he inexplicably gave to Wales?

If we survive this scrum without conceding points I'd be amazed but if we do I'd find it hilarious if Tipuric comes on as a back and wins it. lol

Are the Welsh players all made of glass?

Fibreglass.

Out of our own World Cup. Jesus.

Fair play to Wales, they were well up for it and England were atrocious.

Absolutely criminal from England.  Game completely and utterly thrown away.  Lancaster should be fired tonight.  We are as good as out unfortunately.
