Ended up taking a 3 legged dog home once from Dagenham, managed to sneak it back into the room at the Park Plaza on Westminster Bridge.

Had to get a taxi and take it back the next day after we had sobered up.

Brilliant. Not managed anything like that but my friend had some goats so we put them in the house when off our heads. There was shite everywhere, they were jumping on the sofas, tables.it seemed like a good idea at the time.

The police are useless basically.

no arrests, sent two women, monitered it from there control room, arrive 15 minutes after call when police station is 2 mins down the road.

laughable, and they get to retire on a massive salary.

Not sure if you read the article but it sounds like they found the "victim" who declined to make a complaint. I'm sure they have better things to do than to waste time investigating and then trying to prosecute a bunch of idiots for fighting.

Maybe  the  police  never had the manpower  to send more than two police women  what with the cuts to their numbers. They are also having to use community officers  more. Dwfine massive pension.

In Manchester they  have been using officers to  arrest homeless people for setting up tents.

Some underpass. Do not have the link ATM

Found it but I'll put it in the politics thread with another link.

I really don't understand you Ken, they've been arrested for breaking an injunction because there's already homeless shelters / supports set up, they aren't above the law.

The final pension scheme has already fallen due to the changes implemented by Tom Winsor. It is a average earning scheme now. I know a few bobbys and due to these changes they are having having to continue working for another 5-6 yers to come out with a worse pension.

Final salary pensions are a thing of the past but they wern't just for the police, go see Civil Servants and pretty much any unionised manufacturing industry.

Exactly, Ken would you want a world where people can just set up tent communities anywhere they like in cities? Leicester would end up looking like the Hungarian border does now.

Was walking back through the centre of Leicester last night on my way back from London.

Leicester centre really is a shit-hole

The report doesn't say that, it just says two small women. The elite midget squad. Fem division.

Are they the ones who are carry small arms?

In fairness to him, a judge has thrown that case out of court...

They're having to work into their mid/late 50s? Those poor bastards.

I'm not saying that people shouldn't have to work a bit longer but is it right to expect that a 58 year old should potentially have to tangle around on the floor with a load of 20 year olds on a Friday night? Or arresting violent prisoners armed with knives? Every career has a life span and traditionally 30 years has been that of a Police Officer.

Plus shift working is proven to reduce your overall health and likely lead to dying earlier. I don't want to see police officers with walking sticks, some of them look like they'd struggle to run as it is!

Are you still sneaking into Ken's 3rd floor flat on the St Matthews estate?

No. He doesn't sneak anymore , he does it brazenly.
