EnglishOxide Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Which manager is better positioned to get their team into Europe? I honestly think Ranieris track record holds up the best.
Charl91 Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 I would probably say Bilic, if I'm honest. But any of them could be in with a chance, albeit a very small chance. Edit: Actually, let's be honest, it's probably only us or Wet Spam, as it stands. But with the fixtures they've played, Spam have the edge, imo.
Dan Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Surely Pochettino. We've given ourselves a small chance, but at the minute that's all it is.

For all West Ham are beating the big boys, they're coming up short time and time again against the lower sides. Two points taken from Norwich, Watford, Bournemouth and Sunderland. I actually rate us slightly above them.
EnglishOxide Posted 1 November 2015 Author Posted 1 November 2015 I'm talking about the managers not the club. As a club we are as attractive as Saints and West Ham. We have funds to rival them and Spurs/Everton. I know he is older but surely Ranieri is more qualified than the managers I've listed to see us over the line and into Europe? His achievements outweigh Koeman, whilst the others are inexperienced when it comes to qualifying for, and then actually compete in European competition. Especially in top leagues. Koeman has only done it in Portugal and Holland. Ranieri has done it in Spain and Italy.
st albans fox Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 We don't pay anything like the wages Spurs do They should finish top of that list and poch is more than capable of doing that
Corky Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Pochettino is a very underrated manager, and he has the best squad so if we finish above Spurs Ranieri should be manager of the year as we'll be top five.
ealingfox Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Of the 4 I'd say only Spurs will definitely finish above us at this point.
Dan Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Everton I can see hitting some form actually. They've got most of the top sides out of the way.
conLAD logan Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 We've got the best manager for it, with ranieri credentials compared to the others, however not sure if the squad depth will allow us to get into Europe in the long run for this season. Fingers crossed tho!
Fox92 Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Tottenham have the best squad out of the lot, and Pochettino seems to know what he's doing. Koeman has done well with Southampton, especially considering all the players he has lost, but he was always going to be a great appointment for Southampton. Again, knows what he is doing and a top top player in his day (not that that means anything).
Richard Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Pochettino > Koeman > Ranieri > Martinez > Billic
lestajigs Posted 1 November 2015 Posted 1 November 2015 Would be amazed to see to see us finish above any of these tbf, don't get me wrong we've had a fantastic start, but I'd say fixtures we have had, have been kind to us, got some hard games coming up in a mounths time, if we are still in the top 6 come jan 1st, then I'll start to think maybe we can do it! But even to finish the season in the top half is some achievement!
