Stevosevic Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 BBC Leicester Sport @BBCRLSport 1m1 minute ago Claudio Ranieri had been nominated for the Premier League manager of the month award for October. #LCFC BBC Leicester Sport @BBCRLSport 5s5 seconds ago Ranieri is shortlisted with Arsene Wenger and Manuel Pellegrini. The winner is announced tomorrow.
Soar Fox Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Ranieri should win it, but Wenger will. Winning 2 of 3 away games and drawing the other is excellent for a club like us.
Stevosevic Posted 9 November 2015 Author Posted 9 November 2015 We got 10 points from the 12 available in October, with 3 of those games being away. Surely Claudio???
ramboacdc Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 We got 10 points from the 12 available in October, with 3 of those games being away. Surely Claudio??? remember when vardy got beat by sanchez for player of the month last month?
Stevosevic Posted 9 November 2015 Author Posted 9 November 2015 remember when vardy got beat by sanchez for player of the month last month? He didn't - Martial won it for September.....
ramboacdc Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 He didn't - Martial won it for September..... you are right! still injustice in my eyes. in other news im going to go wake up before i post again!
Bamba's Babes Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 He didn't - Martial won it for September..... Last month is October and Sanchez won.
Aus Fox Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Vardy also nominated for this months player, surely scoring in every game wins it. Last month is October and Sanchez won. I think you've had a mare here.
Captain... Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Vardy also nominated for this months player, surely scoring in every game wins it. I think you've had a mare here. He's right though, this month is November so last month is October, Sanchez won a fan voted player of the month for October ahead of Vardy. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/10052891/pfa-player-of-the-month-winners-anthony-martial-ross-wallace-george-moncur-and-graham-carey
Captain... Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Does it only look at the league? We also lost to Hull in the Cup in October. Arsenal took all the points in the league and beat Bayern Munich in the CL, but lost to Wednesday in the LC. Man City dropped 2 points to Man U, but won every other game and scored 20 goals in all competitions. I really don't understand why it takes so long to award these. Awarding it now after Man City dropped points to Villa, and Arsenal suffered a spanking from Bayern takes the shine off it a little. Oh and it should clearly go to Claudio as his tactical changes really made a difference in shoring up the defence and helping us come from behind twice.
Fox92 Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Should go to Claudio. Probably won't go to Claudio.
leicesterlad1989 Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 They can keep the monthly awards. Ranieri will win manager of the season instead when we qualify for the Champions League.

Brainy Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Don't really see how he's technically correct but agree that its easy to see why he thought that What does everybody else think? Mare or no mare?

Harry - LCFC Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Don't really see how he's technically correct but agree that its easy to see why he thought that What does everybody else think? Mare or no mare? Weston-super-Mare imo
Captain... Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Don't really see how he's technically correct but agree that its easy to see why he thought that What does everybody else think? Mare or no mare? Because last month was October, and only one player of the month for October has been awarded, and that was to Sanchez. I guess it depends how you read the original statement: remember when vardy got beat by sanchez for player of the month last month? Vardy did get beaten by Sanchez for player of the month (voted for by fans) for last month (October), but he was beaten this month as it was announced on the 3rd November. There is enough ambiguity there for me to say it is unfair to say someone had a mare, by saying Sanchez beat Vardy to player if the month last month.
Mr gregs Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Whoever is on judging pane( anyone know?) Will get starry eyed again, and find way for " Little ole to miss out AGAIN,, martial won sept's with 3 goals, 1 assist, vardy just got 3 goals! If rules are based on purely just quantity goals AND assists that's ok, doubt it because they have a panel, who judge,, so let's see how ( giroud 3 goals in 4 games and ozil 1 goal 4 assists ,,are " judged' ",
LanguedocFox Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 I seem to recall that whenever we've had someone win a Manager of the Month award, we've gone on a terrible run thereafter. Given that I am going to the Newcastle match, and then we play Man U, I hope Wenger gets it. Personally, I'd be happy for Claudio to be Manager of the Season, having led City to a first-ever League win, and a first-ever FA Cup win, and thus a first-ever double. I can dream.

Vlad the Fox Posted 9 November 2015 Posted 9 November 2015 Think you've all had a mare, it's Bill from my local co-op, I know as I saw a starry certificate saying manager of the month behind the fag counter when I bought an hobgoblin at the weekend.
