Dan Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Inexcusably bad officiating, but that's no real surprise nowadays.
ForzaFerrari Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Normally the GK is the last one but yesterday it was wes and Benteke had already passed the halfway line when Can passed the ball. The linesman got confusedby this weird situation.
Jordan Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 It was offside, but as the basketball saying goes, "Ball don't lie."
ithuriel Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 The officiating was poor in that match but the team still played poorly and lost, even though only by one goal. Arsenal today on the other hand were shocking and am pleasantly surprised we are still top :xmaslaugh:

I presume you are talking about Wes's pace
bovril Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Normally the GK is the last one but yesterday it was wes and Benteke had already passed the halfway line when Can passed the ball. The linesman got confusedby this weird situation. It was a pretty standard situation that has happened plenty of times before. If the linesman was 'confused' he should be sacked.
katieakita Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 I presume you are talking about Wes's pace Was talking about yesterdays scapegoat for some Krameric Big Wes and his blocking capabilities never a doubt
C-man Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 I can only presume the lino forgot KS wasn't in goal.
TOMBlcfc Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 That video makes me love wes even more. (offside aside) Benteke should have still scored but wes did fantastically in his pace, patience and positioning for that block. As a centre back myself watching it is like soft core porn tbqh Impressed with Kram as well. Also, seen a couple to times that Kasper is a little reluctant to get back when he's up the pitch, seems to forget where he's supposed to be playing!
NewquayFox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Benteke was in an offside position when he received the ball, if any of the othe three Liverpool players received it they would have been offside too. We only had one City player in our half and the 'Laws of association football' require at least two, Referee and Assistant had a mare...... Up the City.....
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 I can only presume the lino forgot KS wasn't in goal. Exactly that... and understandable really!
FireFox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Exactly that... and understandable really! How is that understandable?! Kasper went up for the attack, had on a yellow kit... The linesman surely saw him go up, and he should have made a mental note for if what happened happened.
Bayfox Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 Exactly that... and understandable really! But it's his job. How many ****ing things do linesmen actually have too do now days. As soon as you see kasper go forward the 1st thought must be OK if the ball breaks forward I need to see if 2 defenders are back.
DB11 Posted 27 December 2015 Posted 27 December 2015 That's offside, yeah Lino obviously forgot that there was no goalkeeper and therefore Morgan was not the second last opposition player
