Ashley Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wuV-c75Cyh0&feature=player_embedded Surely every single Liverpool player attacking here are offside?
BigWesMorgan Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Does it matter? The game is over and we played pretty shit so we lost.
st albans fox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wuV-c75Cyh0&feature=player_embedded Surely every single Liverpool player attacking here are offside? Yes they are ............ Did this need a thread all of its own Ashley!
Frank to be Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Clear as day. One of the worst incorrect offside calls I've ever seen.
Ashley Posted 26 December 2015 Author Posted 26 December 2015 Yes they are ............ Did this need a thread all of its own Ashley! Yes it does matter how do officials not know the offside rule?
CharlieCharles Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Did they score? NO. Not really much to say about it, if they had scored then maybe.
Grewks Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Kramaric is slow? Haha....That was quicker than Vardy v West Brom.
st albans fox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 That was Kramaric? Fantastic effort. He deserves a start on Tuesday for that effort alone !
Jaspa Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Captain Morgan standing in heroic there, shoutout to Krama too Definitely offside though, needs to be two men infront of the ball and they have to be over the halfway line for an offside to come into effect, saw it straight away on the stream.
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 That's a great shout, how can professionals miss these? I didn't even think about it during the game to be honest.
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Didn't notice this at the time but you are correct. Completely offisde
AyewJoking Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 sorry for being thick but im assuming at least two opposition players have to be between the attacker and the goal. normally one of them is the keeper but in this case it was just wes. or am i missing something? im not sleeping tonight if i dont get closure on this?
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Wait where was they offside? Only Morgan behind the ball. Has to be atleast 2 players, usually the keeper and a defender
Izzy Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 I'm more concerned that Claudio puts his hand out to shake Klopps right at the end, before the full time whistle. I love Ranieri but he gave Klopp too much respect before, during and after the game for me. I don't want him to undermine or belittle himself against the top managers. Ferguson wouldn't have done that. Don't be TOO nice Claudio, I want to see the ruthless, dark side of you sometimes...
LCFC FOX Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 Only Morgan behind the ball. Has to be atleast 2 players, usually the keeper and a defender really? I never even knew that just thought it was one
StanSP Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 sorry for being thick but im assuming at least two opposition players have to be between the attacker and the goal. normally one of them is the keeper but in this case it was just wes. or am i missing something? im not sleeping tonight if i dont get closure on this? 4 Liverpool players in our half. Only one Leicester player. Kasper was in Liverpool's half still. All 4 offside as only one defender back. Linesman had a mare. Could have been massive if it was 1-1 and Benteke did score. But it wasn't.
Gerard Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 really? I never even knew that just thought it was one It's two but 99% of the time the GK is the furthest man back so it's easy to be confused. I was at the game today and never thought twice about it so good spot by the OP.
AyewJoking Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 really? I never even knew that just thought it was one it kinda is just one as the goalkeeper is a given (not shay) why dont teams just leave one player on their goal line and have ten in the other half?
AyewJoking Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 wouldnt the liverpool players be fine though as they all ran from inside their half?
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 it kinda is just one as the goalkeeper is a given (not shay) why dont teams just leave one player on their goal line and have ten in the other half? Would you really want to do that against a team with pace? Imagine Vardy breaking from the half way line with no opposition in front of him. He'd leave them for dead.
StanSP Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 wouldnt the liverpool players be fine though as they all ran from inside their half? doesn't matter where they ran from. It's where they are when the ball is played.
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 December 2015 Posted 26 December 2015 wouldnt the liverpool players be fine though as they all ran from inside their half? They were in our half when the ball was played.
