bobtickle Posted 5 January 2016 Posted 5 January 2016 Obviously weve got a shit load of wide players now but was expecting us to try to sign carillo this month and we still could. This season we will have schlupp, Albrighton, mahrez, dyer, gray & dodoo. Maybe dodoo goes out on loan. Next season I think minus dyer but Lawrence back (what is lawrence mainly, a forward or a winger??). Maybe dodoo will go out on loan to the chocka championship. Do people think this is all the business done for wide players for a long time or might we try to bring in another with extra Europe games next season a good possibility?...admittedly there is still the summer transfer window and mahrez might leave then but I'm sure bigger clubs abroad will snap up carillo on a free.
foxes21 Posted 5 January 2016 Posted 5 January 2016 Don't think Schlupp is/will ever be good enough on the wing personally. He can adapt his game to become a capable full back though.

NewEnglandFox Posted 5 January 2016 Posted 5 January 2016 Dodoo's definitely going back out on loan soon. I hope he goes back to Bury by the weekend so he can play in the FA cup against Bradford. It's a great opportunity for that club to make it to the 4th round.

This season has been a bit stop start for him, last season he was class...players player of the year says it a at 22 then. I think at full back he looks vulnerable to the diagonal ball and lacks awareness of the opposition around him. Hasn't dodoo's 3 games for us all been at right mid? So at the moment I'd class him as a winger.

Schlupp's pace is perfect for our counter attacking style, and he is very direct. What he lacks is defense, but at winger he wont be as vulnerable. I feel like since he is young and under our control, he should get the nod before Dyer does.

Official statements I've seen with regard to both his injury and his expected return have been vague, almost as if his injury hasn't been accurately sussed yet.
