was right next to the away fans, what a bunch of twats they were. One was brandishing some yarn which he intended to use to strangle one of our lads. Bunch of neanderthals

you was in the home end looking at us or have you worded that wrong?

The closer the away the game the worse the atmosphere imo as people who normally wouldn't go to away games manage to get their hands on tickets.

This always seems to be the case.

You go thinking 'local derby atmosphere will be amazing' but then the atmosphere the majority of the time could not be much worse.

The amount of times we have taken huge numbers to Coventry only to have an awful away end used to be embarrassing.

I bet they are the idiots who were crowd surfing at Spurs ! Morons ![/quote

Due to crowd surfing by an idiot two rows behind me yesterday, i celebrated the goal upside trapped between the seats in front. The crowd diver stood on the back of the chair two rows behind and launched himself at me! He wasnt there to watch the game, he should have been removed from the ground. As a result i am black and blue today and the game was spoilt. Please dont tell me to watch on the tv, i love celebrating, singing, chanting etc but draw the line at this when it is deliberate, i was travelling to away games before this idiot was born.

Think this plays a large part. Plus of course the £41 tickets will put some of the more vocal fans off.

What was going on with us? I can't talk about the lower tier as I was upper but it was shocking. Were we nervous? Were we cold?

I think the players needed us yesterday and I felt like on the most part, we let them down.

Granted we weren't very good to watch yesterday.

Long and the short of it, is that our away ends aren't very good anymore for whatever reason.

No we didn't. I don't think Ranieri said to the players after that match its our fault that they didn't win.

I didn't say it's our fault that we didn't win. But we certainly didn't help. The team were poor. I have stated that.

I despise this view. Due to work commitments I don't go away that often but I am the most willing singer you will find. The mere fact that I can't go weekly makes me want to get involved more so.

were you upper tier around row QQ by any chance? Some right chavs near me that were clearly off their rockers and pushed about 5 rows in front when we scored, not saying don't go crazy when we score but don't put other people at risk ffs saw an old man go flying a few rows in front because of this.

As much as I love getting behind the boys, I don't necessarily agree that it's our voice that gets us over the line.

Stick me on 30k a week to sing for a full 90 minutes if we're that vital to the teams results..

Blimey some of you folk should have gone to a match in the 70's/80's

I travelled to most away games in the 80s and this wasnt a problem when we were standing (without seats)

Yeah because there was nothing to fall over when it was just open terraces. You should write to the club and your local MP and back safe standing, posting on Foxestalk will ultimately change nothing.

Genuinely one of the flattest ends I've been in despite it on paper being potentially excellent. I can't get my head around our away support. Our home fans have become amongst the noisiest in the league but our away ends are some of the worst.

We haven't had a good away end since Burnley in the championship.

Actually West Brom last season was decent.

I agree with that actually. There's been a lot of OK ones but we've rarely been great, lets be honest here, even this season at places like Newcastle & Swansea, we're walking the games and the away ends are still half arsed.

Thought Norwich was one of the best ones this season. Agree though apart from West Brom last season we haven't had an amazing away day since the championship
