Hammered Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 A lot more relaxed!! Cannot wait for the season to be over do you
Monsell1976 Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 For me I would want any other team in our position to win it. It's great that the same boring top half a dozen teams are not just the ones fighting for the title. Good for the premier league, as we seemed to have captured the imagination of the football world, it's great managers and teams are talking so much about a little known club.
ThaiFox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Not easy to answer, and as others have already said, it depends on the team. I personally dislike London teams as they get far too much publicity and the media love in is embarrassing. However, if it had to be a London club I could stomach West Ham winning it. I'd be happy if it was Southampton. If it has to be one of the big teams I'd go for Manchester City. But please don't let it be Tottingham, in their thunderbird strip and their horrible fans. Anyone but them, but I've got this dreadful feeling they will do it this season. I so much hope I am wrong.
AyewJoking Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 I only care about leicester city. if we were emroiled in a relegation battle in league one and burnley were top of the prem.... I'd be concerning myself with us and the teams around us.
nnfox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 I'd be jealous if it were a similar sized club to us but I would definitely want them to do it. Anything to break the strangle hold that the big four have on the league would be great (except Tottenham). I was mildly disappointed when Liverpool didn't win it a few years ago but the smaller the club the more interest I'd take. Our story is fantastic on so many levels, from a non-league striker to a washed up old coach who had come so close in the past to the great escape last year to so many other little sub-plots. Honestly, I can't think that any other club currently that could come close to the romance of our story which contributes to us being everyone's second favourite team. If it were someone else, it'd be good, just not as good.
Voll Blau Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 I only care about leicester city. if we were emroiled in a relegation battle in league one and burnley were top of the prem.... I'd be concerning myself with us and the teams around us. Well duh. Doesn't mean you have to ignore literally everything else going on in the football world though does it?
Filbert's Friend Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 It would be unbearable if Burnley and us swapped paths from the tail end of last season. Just seeing Dyche happy makes me want to punch things.
Bayfox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 It depends if Tony Pullis is managing said team, or has ever managed said team, same for hollowhead. (just realised the irony in this) I'd be ok if Swansea, Southampton, West Ham, Everton to name a few were doing it, but there's some clubs I just couldn't bare to see do.
filbertway Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Well duh. Doesn't mean you have to ignore literally everything else going on in the football world though does it? Pretty sure about 75% of this forum couldn't name every team in the Premiership never mind care about any football other than Leicester. As a few have said, it's always good to see an underdog come up and ruffle some feathers. Aside from when I back the out and out favourites. I remember having about 80 quid on various bets relating to Man City v Wigan in the FA Cup and then being gutted that Wigan won 1-0 haha.
steveherbe Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Not Southampton cos I live down there. And not Bournemouth cos Tom lives there. Just City then, cosI hate everyone else - it's an age thing
Bluetintedspecs Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 The more I think about it, the more I think the Ranieri factor is a big reason why other fans see us as their '2nd team' this season. I reckon he's very popular amongst most neutrals and they'd love to see us win it so CR finally wins a league trophy. Without wanting to shit stir, I do wonder if we'd have so much support from other fans if NP was still in charge. I know that mates I have who follow other teams didn't like NP one bit, but they all seem to have a soft spot for the Godfather. I guess I'd like to see West Ham or Everton win it cos I like Bilic and Martinez, but wouldn't be keen on Palace or Newcastle winning it cos I think Pardew and McLaren are bell ends. Agree pal, Don Claudio is just charming everyones pants off
LCCFox96 Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 It would be hard not to be pleased for the players, manager and supporters of any team who upset the balance and annoy the big teams as much as we have this season. It's a fairytale story for football and two fingers up at the financial investors looking to profit from the game at the end of the day.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Cannot wait for the season to be over do you Don't forget to mash them Spuds Hammered!
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 Think if its an inoffensive team or one that plays decent football, you'd normally be behind them. Some teams have shown themselves to be cooonts and would spend the whole time playing the billy big bollocks and can feck off (ie Sunderland) Southampton / Norwich / Bournemouth - would be ecstatic Villa / Everton / West Ham / Stoke / Newcastle - would be rooting for them West Brom under Pulis / Watford / Sunderland / Crystal Palace - fook right off, would be jealous
sylofox Posted 1 March 2016 Posted 1 March 2016 I could handle anyone but spuds. Would love to see them playing park football though.
