It has taken nearly 5 months but I am finally getting the £91 back that it cost me to get a new tyre after a pothole knackered it

Fair play. A pothole bent my alloy and knackered my tyre but the council wouldnt pay out because apparently they inspected the road 12 months before and no one had reported potholes since so it couldnt be them at fault.. 😂 Biggest kop out ever. The road was an absolute disgrace

I ended up having to do one report advising them where the pothole was, and then a separate report for the actual tyre claim

It probably helped that I went back the same day with a tape measure and got photos showing how deep it was!

I take it you have seen the pricing of the Contract Hire deals that have just been launched?! A lot of car for the money!

Correct 😂 seems too good to be true even when specced up.

Oh I see. You talk up a BYD and you're labelled "uncool", but flaunt a modern day Rover Midget and you're Mr. Trendy.

@Izzy

Pan the organizer has released his own line of product. I got a bunch of stuff but when it's done I might give a fellow canadian my money to see how his product works. He will be selling in the UK as well. I want to see his review videos for the product though to see how they are. Interested in that 3 or 8 year ceramic coat he has.

Fair play to him, I'm not surprised he's released his own range.

He's been in the game for years and wouldn't put his name to something shite, so I imagine the quality will be decent.

I'm always a bit dubious of the durability of a 5 or 8 year ceramic coating though. I recently put this 3 year coating on my wife's car which seems very similar to Pan's

The prices of all the products in his range seem in line with other premium brands so I'd guess it's top end.

He's a great salesperson, I'll give him that :D

Got to get my son his first car. Eek! Usual first car requirements; small, low power, reliable, cheapish to insure, nothing too uncool, will have to last a few years so my daughter can use it. Was thinking £3-4k type price range and maybe a Fiesta or Polo based on 10mins of Googling. Anyone been in a similar position and got any advice on things to steer clear of or park? (pun intended!)

Will be buying my daughter her first car soon so in a similar position. Well worth watching this for some ideas.

I think his erection excitement approach was a bit over the top in that video and am only really interested in his ceramic stuff at this point. I might give his car shampoo a try but already have a massive jug of other car shampoo I like. So, that buys me time to see reviews of his product line before committing.

The OH bought a brand new car today off @tom27111

Contacted him via FT, told him our budget and want we wanted and  he sorted in super quick time and hassle free.

Highly recommend Tom if you’re on the lookout for a new motor.
