Bayfox Posted 1 April 2016 Posted 1 April 2016 weirdly i very rarely bet on the national as it's normally just carnage, however, i will be keeping a eye on the weekend this year, if mullins does run all the big guns. and as i have a few free 5 quid bets to use up, I may just use them up on a few longer shots e/w and pray .

Cue Card/Annie Power e/w double With Djakadam win and e/w bets on nichols canyon and MTOY just incase ruby decides to eat turf again on annie or cue card falls again On the fringe to win, but I didn't realise until after i placed, that Nina isn't riding today, so that's probably money down the drain. E/w bet on Minella Present as well in the 4.40 Potential returns double my money if all goes well. The CC / AP double or Djakadam win cover all outlays. Fingers crossed.

Dropped abit of a clanger there, didn't realise how short the prices were. Bit of a joke that, quite annoyed with myself! Had a Cue Card/Annie Power double so Cue Card has redeemed himself after the Cheltenham fall for me! Got a single and double left for today.

I put my tenner on and then go back later to see that it's already lost and I can't find any evidence of Yanworth ever being down to run Sefton Novice Hurdle... Wat?

I was on Viconte Du Noyer, it was rail side, jumped the last to the run in, coming with a big challenge but got cut off by the leader as the leader pushed it over right on the rails, I think it'd have won if it wasn't for that!
