Loggy88 Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 Totally the right time, gives everyone a lift, and the way he said it shouldn't put on extra pressure. He's a funny guy but he is also very clever and chose the perfect time to say it.
Crinklyfox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 That should focus minds. Four games to go and probably the easiest one next, that just raises the profile of the match at the right time. Clever guy.
sylofox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 The bells are ringing for the foxes in blue. Dilly Ding Dilly Dong.
Dr The Singh Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 I hope Pearson watches Claudio and learns from this great manager. He knows how to play The press the people, the players. Total charisma, and totally takes the pressure away. Instead of the knuckle dragging wit Pearson tries.
ARM1968 Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 I think this is genius all round. Now we go for the title. Now he unleashes his warriors. Now the players stand up and take what should be their's. And now Tottenham will know we think we can do it. They can chase but that is all. It's tactically brilliant by Ranieri. Hopefully it works.
Leeds Fox Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xr9bfLeq-8I What a man. As much I want Leicester to win the league because it's our club, I want them to win it for this man. Nobody is bigger than a football club, but this man has become everything that LCFC stand for. He's made us prouder than ever to be City fans. He's turned the players into heroes, into warriors who refuse to be defeated. It's not only the fact that we could win the league that is so special, it's how we're doing it. One last push boys, and the dream could become reality.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 We have now achieved everything bar the title, it is a good time to really focus the players on giving 110% each game to seal the title. He is also right in saying we do need the 8 points because Spurs will likely win all
Monsell1976 Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 This season Claudio has been everything you want in a manager, humble, funny and a true gentleman, even over the Jon moss incident, a breath of fresh air. No matter what happens from now till the end of the season, he's becoming my favourite city manager of my time. Yes MON takes some beating, with his passion, jumping through the air, after we score, and the success he brought us, but Claudio, it's his first season, and I like the man, and hope this season is just the beginning. I hope for Claudio, we win the league, his long cv is only missing a top division title, been second a few times, but the bloke deserves the title on his cv.
lcfcliam Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 I have never wanted something so bad, we can't let this slip now!
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 I wonder why Claudio has chosen today to go from 'we try and win our next game and see where that takes us' to 'we're going for the title' clearly he is peddling the story that having achieved champions league, there is only the title left to aim for so we may as well drop the charade. I hope it's that and not that he detects the players really feeling the nerves so he's attempting to lighten the mood and change the focus. Alternatively, you could say he's been completely consistent in only ever looking at the next target. Early on it was getting to 40 pts, then he switched to bettering that in the second half, then closing out a European place and then Champions' League. We've just secured that so there is only one more target to go for.

Agreed, I mean I get the people saying stick to one game at a time but if we can't admit the long term goals the title now we are basically saying seasons over.
ARM1968 Posted 23 April 2016 Posted 23 April 2016 More than anything I want this for Don Claudio. If ever a man deserved a title on his CV it is him. A true great.
