Because none of them are shown on UK channels?

Ok, what does 3 o'clock kick off mean?

It means that UK channels are prohibited from showing 3pm kick offs live on tv.

It's been like that for years.

ok, is it the Peirmeir league that does not let a match be shown on UK tv, or is it Sky and BT that won't show them?

Part of the standard agreement between the FA / Premier League / TV companies in an attempt to protect traditional 3 o'clock kick off attendances, especially at the lower levels.

It's also because all the teams playing today are shit... They're not box office like we are!

2:45 to 5:30 is a protected period when broadcasters aren't allowed to televise and football. Helps to ensure people still attend the games.

Ahhhh.....that makes more sense, more people would stay home and watch the PL than attend lower league matches.

Thanks for the insight!
