Blackpool Fox 69 Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 Just a word of warning for those with families thinking of attending, it won't be a friendly, my Ma was from the East End of Glasgow and they are staunchly Catholic in that area, there will be an element who hate the English, even little Leicester, don't want to put a downer on it, but I just wanted to warn people, as an Englishman with a lot of experience of the area.

It will be a friendly, I have family in Glasgow and they have an affinity with Leicester due to O'Neill and Lennon going there. While some do hate the English, they don't mind Leicester as much because of this. Stop trying to scare fans. I went to Celtic v Rangers a few years back and all the Celtic fans I met in the pubs were very welcoming to me.

Jesus Christ what a load of shit , what has catholic to do with anything !!!!! there are estates in london , Birmingham , Bradford , Luton that are staunchly Muslim where English people wouldn't be safe (look it up ! ) what on earth has being Catholic to do with hating the English !!!!! That's just bigotry and a disgraceful comment ! And actually illegal ! What the Fcuk is going on here ? Glasgow is quite safe and I have never seen any issues , obviously like any city it has scum ! Both Protestant and Catholic scum Don't come on here pedling your west coast of Scotland sectarian bigotry !

I have been going to parkhead for decades and never had an issue me or all my English friends !!! Infact the only shit I got was a Rangers fan trying to attack me when I was 18 for being a "fenian murder" Go to Glasgow support your team , don't get wrapped up in the sectarian bullshit and you will be 100% fine you and your kids ! Of course there are some Leicester fans who will go to support Rangers , the "loyal Leicester" flag with the Rangers crest is a prime example of provocation ! Support Leicester and remember we are going there to support our team and we will be welcomed all over Glasgow ! What ever religion or nationality you are !
