Thracian Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 So how come Algeria are producing so much talent and we're not? I have my theories but I'd be interested to here genuinely informed views.
MC Prussian Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 So how come Algeria are producing so much talent and we're not? I have my theories but I'd be interested to here genuinely informed views. Define "so much".
Mezeker Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 So how come Algeria are producing so much talent and we're not? I have my theories but I'd be interested to here genuinely informed views. you have too many white people within your boarders, excommunicate them and profit.
AlgerianFox Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 So how come Algeria are producing so much talent and we're not? I have my theories but I'd be interested to here genuinely informed views. In the last 30 years Algerii hasnt produced anything. .apart Slimani and very few others...we have probably the most corrupt and weakest league in the world....Algerians have football in their cells they love the game they love to play it...but today money has taken over on the game trough corruption as the clubs are not professionally run and subsidise by national rich company...so finance is not dictated by results and the cacatastrophye that our national league is in today produces nothing .or nraly nothing. Most successful Algerian football players today are the product of Europe.
ST20 Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 I think having no English players in different leagues and learning different ways of playing helps.
matty98 Posted 23 May 2016 Posted 23 May 2016 Looks decent, if we're getting another Algerian I'd prefer it to be Brahimi though
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 if we have been linked with him seems like the kind of player we're going for, young with massive potential I just hope we manage to get the majority of our transfers wrapped up pre euros I don't think Algeria qualified...
Mezeker Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 Looks decent, if we're getting another Algerian I'd prefer it to be Brahimi though i don't think we can afford him unfortunately given what his price tag has been quoted at. I don't think Algeria qualified... I just browsed through and did not see context so if this is sarcastic forgive me but Algeria is not in Europe and thus not the Euros.

sylofox Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 So how come Algeria are producing so much talent and we're not? I have my theories but I'd be interested to here genuinely informed views. That's easy to answer. Them kids play football with a ball not on a PlayStation.
rmahrez Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 Wait, Algeria didn't qualify? Get in guess we don't lose Mahrez after all! Another plus for signing the likes of Slimani and Ghezzal as well. Might as well get Brahimi while we're at it.
GaelicFox Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 This forum will collapse if we get another Algerian , we will need a new server !!!
Munshi Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 This forum will collapse if we get another Algerian , we will need a new server !!!We only have one
WiFoxes Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 Wait, Algeria didn't qualify? Get in guess we don't lose Mahrez after all! Another plus for signing the likes of Slimani and Ghezzal as well. Might as well get Brahimi while we're at it. He was talking about qualifying for the Euros. Algeria already has 10 points from 4 games in their qualifying group and only has yet to play the team at the bottom of the group.

Because their families move to France are poor and live in ghettos. And they play football because they love it and it's an escape from their sad poverty ridden lives. France is a good place for grass roots sports. There are so many opportunities for kids to play all sorts of sports.
thybluefox Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 He was talking about qualifying for the Euros. Algeria already has 10 points from 3 games in their qualifying group and only has yet to play the team at the bottom of the group. 10 points from 3 games...?
rmahrez Posted 24 May 2016 Posted 24 May 2016 Ah, the title of this article was misleading: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35918933
Finnegan Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Looks set to sign for PSG. Shame. My barber was very excited about this guy.
Raw Dykes Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 you have too many white people within your boarders, excommunicate them and profit. Let's do without the racism, please.
Mezeker Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Let's do without the racism, please. light hearted joke? Searching for something that is not there perhaps?
Raw Dykes Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 light hearted joke? Searching for something that is not there perhaps? Don't try to make excuses. Change "white people" for any other race, and it's disgusting. "you have too many arabs within your boarders, excommunicate them and profit. :D" Not quite so funny now, is it? No need for that, is there?

I think you are a little off base, not making any excuses or apologizes. You just misread the context and are looking for something that is just not there. I would point to the fact that you are the only one to react the way you did, far after the fact I should point out.

It was a racist comment, and we can do without that here. That's all I have to say about it.
