I went 3-2 up with 10 mins to play and after than every pass i made went straight to them. He won 4-3 doing that bastard dab thing after his winner (which came from a deflection) went in to wrong foot my keeper. Cracking way to lose a tournament final. **** sake,

His players were always in position to intercept and my players couldn't even make a 5 yard pass with nobody hasstling or anything without one of them ****ing up. Find it hard to believe that that's my fault. The only other possibility is that the lad was sat next to a professional Fifa player who decided to control the last 5 minutes. The 3-3 equalising goal was particularly funny. I tackled him 5/6 times in a row and the ball popped perfectly back to him each time in a better position and each time completely by chance. Normally I raise my hands up if I do genuinely mess up but there was nothing i could do to affect the outcome. His players suddenly because world cup winners and mine became Sunday league players.

He's probably just upped it to attacking, starting hammering the left shoulder button and tried a bit harder. You've gotten flustered and ****ed it up. I've lost games at the death before, it's just human psychology. So is the idea that there's scripting in the first place! It's called a self serving bias, if you do well it's you, if you don't it's the game. It's backed up by herd thinking (everyone else stating that it's fact because everyone else said so) and conformation bias (you see proof because you want to.) When you stop and think about the idea of scripting, it's absolutely absurd. Why would EA bother? For a start, it'd be a massive effort to programme for no real reason. Then there's the fact that clearly people don't want it in the game. I used to believe in handicap to an extent, my silver teams always felt better against gold teams than my gold teams. But realistically that's because my silver teams were stupidly fast and strong!! Trust me, there isn't scripting. The only reason people entertain the idea is because they can't hack admitting they lost a game in which both players had to deal with the fact the engine isn't perfect.

That's why we like to believe in shit like scripting so we've got something else to complain about. But let's be honest, it doesn't actually make sense.
