I'm not the best at explaining. I think one of the reasons people are complaining about what they think is button lag is that they expect to be able to shoot instantly whilst sprinting. Neither real life or the game work like that. It takes a split second to get in to stride. If you DONT have time to charge a shot and the keeper is right on top of you, triple tap b as fast as you can and you'll often get a spawny shit shot in the corner. Ah that's how you do it. No that is fine muchos gracious. To be honest shooting and getting people in behind is what I'm not great at at the minute so both bits of advice give out by yourself this morning could be of great benefit.

For getting people in behind, change your custom tactics so your build up is faster and push up the "passing" higher a bit as well, it makes your players stand a bit further apart. Also turn the shooting down LOWER, it means they look to get closer to goal / make forward runs as opposed to setting up for long shots. Obviously change your individual instructions for your striker to look to get in behind. I've gone from always having my forwards playing like Steve Howard, receiving the ball with back to goal nowhere useful to playing like 15/16 Vardy.

Yes very useful, They had this in career must of moved it over. tbf never used it before as last one I had was 15 and I did alright on that with defaults but this needs changing frustrating how static the off the ball players are half the time.

I'm going to have to tinker with the custom tactics. I gave exactly the same problem with players having there back to goal.

In transfers search for PL gold centre backs and set maximum buy now to about 400/500 coins. Search and as soon as you see any on the market buy them instantly. You can make nearly 300 coins on each player. I did this last night and made at least 2.5k coins. Will take a while to build up but it's well worth it.

Takes far too long and by the time the player decides to cross you've either been tackled or player is back in time to block the cross. I'm sure it wasn't that slow in FIFA 16.

I've noticed the time it takes players to respond to what you want them to do is pretty hideous in all situations, I'm literally struggling to enjoy anything about this game at the minute

The attacking vs. defending ratio and the AI now mean you can't just press high and just take the ball away from the opposition, it's become much harder. I suppose the best way is to wait for the opposition to make a mistake going forward and counter quickly. My issue is, is that I can't tackle for ****. The opposing players are so good at anticipating my movement and evade regular or sliding tackles with ease.

World Class now is not a nice experience I have to say. Mind you I'm sure it will generally get easier as my team progress's
Beliall Posted 7 October 2016 Posted 7 October 2016 I started a Career mode save with Grmsby town on world class, I thought if i can get good with them, i can play online. I used to do save a Leicester, but we are not crap anymore, so it defeats the purpose
