AyewJoking Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 i dont want rooney to retire. i want him to have the indignity of never being selected ever again.
RoboFox Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 The coward never had the bollocks to face media questioning. Just reads a pre-prepared statement and walks away with his £14m payslip. Where's the accountability? Later FA CEO Martin Glenn will facing up to the media. Alone. Where's Hodgson? There's fourteen million reasons that Hodgson should be sat alongside him. EDIT: Announced that he'll speak to the media at 4pm. This'll be interesting... Actually no it won't, it's Hodgson, it'll be f**king boring.

EGBFitness Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Word coming out is that the players turned against Woy at the end. ****ing obvious That second half last night was a complete train wreck! Don't think many players have bought into his ideas all tournament if I'm honest
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Did Woy really just say 'I don't really know what I'm doing here'?
m4DD0gg Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 'I dont really know what i am doing here' what an arrogant caaaaaaaaaaaant.
EGBFitness Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 'I dont really know what i am doing here' what an arrogant caaaaaaaaaaaant. I was just about to put the exact same! Sums the ****ing bloke up in his first breath! Just shows what his team talks must of been when it was going against him. Of course he has to be there aswell, the guy has lead us to one of our most embarrassing knock outs ever - there is also the 2014 World Cup he still has a lot to answer for. People have questions to this shit and he has to answer it whether he is now employed by the FA or not 'I dont really know what i am doing here' what an arrogant caaaaaaaaaaaant. Parafox Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Still no apology. No admission of culpability. He "didn't see it coming" in terms of the way England played last night. WELL WE DID!!!!! We saw it coming for the last three games. You FFFOOOLLL.
Tielemans63 Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 http://www.skysports.com/football/news/12016/10327446/senior-england-players-lost-faith-in-roy-hodgson-sky-sources says it all really, when someone as thick as wayne rooney is calling you out. If that was the case then why didn't the senior players grab the bull by the horns and take charge? Instead, they showed their lack of support by just not playing, going out with a whimper, knowing full well that the manager would get the bullet. Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted Hodgson has gone and to most people who have a vague knowledge of football, he was clearly massively out of his depth. I just think it's disgusting that the players made their point by surrendering meekly and showing a total lack of fight - that's just wrong. I know I have an annoying habit of comparing football with rugby but I just think that mentality is a joke. In the 2007 Rugby World Cup the England team lost faith in the coach, Brian Ashton (he was too old, dated tactics, out of touch - sound familiar?) after some shocking performances in the group stages. However, rather than just taking the easy route like a bunch of overpaid pussies, the senior players in the squad took the initiative and basically decided the tactics and the style for themselves and shut Ashton out - they got all the way to the World Cup final. I'm not advocating undermining your coach but your professional pride should dictate that you do what you have to do. Hodgson should never have been in the job anyway but the players were far too quick to allow him to be the excuse for diabolical performances. Hodgson is the tip of the iceberg, the whole thing is rotten to the core.
Dan Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Genuinely laughed out loud at that comment. The arrogance of the bloke is astonishing.
Babylon Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 In his tiny mind he's done a great job, everything is fine and that he's just been let down by one bad performance. He's mental.

Parafox Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 He said "don't know why I'm here, I'm no longer the England manager" Fvcking hell. Really???
Tielemans63 Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Easy - vast majority of them dont give a shit. In which case why the **** should they be picked to play for their country?
m4DD0gg Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 In which case why the **** should they be picked to play for their country? Been the same for years. Comparing this lot to the likes of team of Italia 90 Euro 96 there is no comparison. They were men. These lot are PR protected babies with too many headphones, xbox's and money.
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I can't quite believe what I've just heard.. he's an even bigger cnvt than I thought he was!
Izzy Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 He said "don't know why I'm here, I'm no longer the England manager" Fvcking hell. Really??? He said it three times - just incredible. There was a man who for me just wants the ground to open up and swallow him so he can disappear. I reckon he's shitting himself about the reception he'll get when comes home and he tried his best to kiss arse with the press as he's know's they'll slaughter him. It was all about self protection and keeping his reputation. Deep down he knows he now unemployable and he's in denial.
AjcW Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 You know what annoys me more the Roy... the press... they vent their anger all day on twitter.. then they get into that room and don't challenge him once! Not once!
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I said earlier today...he's basically gotten away Scot free. He's not been sacked. He's not even really apologised. He's not had a contract torn up. What the fook is happening here? The FA bloke even said that the team was much better than it was four years ago. The WHOLE THING STINKS!
GaelicFox Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 He will be getting a knighthood off the queen next 100% guaranteed
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 He will be getting a knighthood off the queen next 100% guaranteed Maybe now you can see why many of us are angry.
GaelicFox Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Maybe now you can see why many of us are angry. Yea in fairness that news conference made me laugh but if I was English id be reaching for the nearest plastic chair ! Wayne Rooney is a gutless fat scouser to claim the players were behind roy means for me Rooney should have played his last game for England
