purpleronnie Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Looking forward to the new appointment and the failure in 2 years and the same old discussions about how it's the managers fault. Yawn.
EGBFitness Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Literally the best outcome from the euros. Probably better to have gone tonight than Sunday against France as tonight has gave him no choice. Absolute disgrace. I feel sorry for all the fans that have gone over there to watch that shit. From the start of the tournament it spelled disaster, I mean where do you start from it all? - wrong selection - no wingers - wrong formation - wrong tactics - poor management The reasons are you endless, he shouldn't of announced his resignation it should of been his retirement - if he gets into another club after that display I'd be amazed.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Looking forward to the new appointment and the failure in 2 years and the same old discussions about how it's the managers fault. Yawn. It is obvious this was down to Hodgson, he left the better players at home and took a bunch of injured and out of form players... but we will get another manager that does the same...
FrankieADZ Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 I heard him read out "someone new to build on the progress we've made" what progress is that then, thank god hes gone, tactically useless and well behind the times

Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Unfortunately none of those things will happen, not with the FA as it is. Major shake up is needed from the very top, our record in tournaments is an absolute embarrassment. We need to vote leave.
Benji Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 The fact he clearly had a pre-written statement says all you need to know. What a cheesedick. Drinkwater must be pissing himself on holiday.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 In fairness some of the media comments are equally clueless.

Guest Mee-9 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 You've got to laugh really. I sometimes wonder if the FA pick these 'yes men,' type managers who can be pressured by the powers that be to play a team the FA want. Over-reliance on Spurs players, playing players out of position and genuinely being clueless cost him.

In all fairness that was a typical Spurs meltdown Looked certain for quarters, took lead and guaranteed for quarters, 10 mins later your 2-1 down to Iceland and kicked out the euros... Sounds similar story to this season and finishing 3rd
MC Prussian Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 I heard him read out "someone new to build on the progress we've made" what progress is that then, thank god hes gone, tactically useless and well behind the times You've progressed past the group stage.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 The guy played unfit players and had Kane taking corners... baffling
Stadt Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 You've progressed past the group stage. I don't know if you're truing to be funny (you're not) but so did 15 other teams
AKCJ Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 Allardyce for me. Gets people playing for him (as if playing for the shirt isn't enough) and actually knows how to set a team up to its strengths.
foxile5 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 He's a man who has steadfastly refused to accept the better players in has, in lieu of picking the most vaunted, the flashiest. He's a man who has on more than one occasion shown himself to be disappointed with a striker scoring. He's a man who has took nearing 20 million from the FA and returned 3 disappointing results. He's a man who has shown no ability to reflect, no ability to adapt, no ability to change a system for the better and no ability to beat lesser sides. But most the most unforgiving thing. The direst of all wrongs. The sickest of ills. He's a man with that haircut. Goodnight, sweet prince.
Jonno84 Posted 27 June 2016 Posted 27 June 2016 i think any of us could have made better desisions than hodson even my cat....
