The Year Of The Fox Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Still no apology. No admission of culpability. He "didn't see it coming" in terms of the way England played last night. WELL WE DID!!!!! We saw it coming for the last three games. You FFFOOOLLL. The last three games? Is that all? Try February
RoboFox Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 You don't know why you're there, Roy? Is that right? You're walking away £14m better off, your tenure has been an abject failure culminating in the worst performance from the national team in many, many years; and you're asking why you've been asked to face the media? The arrogance of the man is astounding.
Matt Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Amazing press conference. Woy is simply wumming is he?! "I don't know what i'm doing here"....You can say that again, I think it's quite clear you didn't know what you were doing there for the tenure of your England career. "I didn't see last night performance coming after the 3 group games"...Really? It's really does sum up why I wanted this cunt out, if he didn't see this coming on the horizon based on poor performance, after poor performance, well the bloke really is a deluded, simpleton. Oh and then there was the press conference last night, something I hadn't picked up on at the time, but Colin Murray was taking the piss out of him, apparently he said something along the lines of "We've had a glorious journey, but these things happen", These thing happen? Unbelievable. These things happen - I'm gonna use that when fucking up at work, or perhaps when someone is boring me, spewing about the leaving the EU, well these things happen. Good riddance Woy. I just don't understand how people stuck up for him and stood by him right up until the end.
Tielemans63 Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I think Roy may have descended into senility just prior to the tournament. I'm actually being half serious here. He didn't seem to be in control of himself at any point let alone his players. He seemed like a scared old man whenever he spoke to the press. Perhaps he was. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

GaelicFox Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 Super Steve anyone? http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/international/england-vs-iceland-steve-mcclaren-reaction-goal-euro-2016-a7106896.html What really struck me is how far his career has fallen , an anchor pundit on sky sports news And a shite one at that LOL

It's one thing making decisions you don't agree with but the manner of this tournament has been absolutely shocking from start to finish to the extent it's like he's not even bothered. A pre-meditated resignation speech? That just shows how little heart there was in this campaign. I just cannot make a jot of sense from a single thing he did all tournament.
foxes21 Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 the players deserve as much of the blame to be honest. They need to take some responsibility for this mess. Mind you they are a bunch of overrated, overhyped players with little ability so last 16 is probably their level.

Vardy especially, had we had a players like drinkwater, Albrighton, Townsend, Carroll, noble and even Deeney to add something different we wouldn't have been in such a mess. Hodgson got it wrong from the off, taking unfit out of form players, playing a formation in which no one understands and allowing Kane to take set pieces. It was a mess but the players especially the ones left at home are better than that
Carl the Llama Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I for one am pleased the clueless dolt has finally admitted he has no idea what he's doing.
MC Prussian Posted 28 June 2016 Posted 28 June 2016 I don't know if you're truing to be funny (you're not) but so did 15 other teams Looking at 2016 from a 2014 point of view, England have indeed made a progress - by at least advancing to the next round. Of course I was joking. Sort of. Tactically and personnel-wise, this tournament was a shambles for you lot. This being both the manager's and the players' fault. And the FA, for installing a panel with non-footballers, deciding on managers rather based on name than on merit. But in all honesty, which British manager would be competent enough to lead England to a new dawn?
