Vardy is back in two weeks and King will be back when ever the hell he likes!

We've just become Champions of England, yet, there is so much more anticipation for this season, despite most realistic fans realising that expectation should not be set too high. The relief of keeping Vardy, and thus far Kante, combined with the fact we've just signed another leader in Mendy and great potential in Musa. I forgot all about Mahrez over the past couple of weeks, imagine the extra space he is going to get next season. When we signed Amartey I was really looking forward to seeing him reach a good level of potential, but now i'm wondering if he will even get a look in. Then there is drinkwater, the potential of chilwell etc. Ranieri said at the end of last season 'this is just the beginning', and i'm starting to believe him. Incredible times ahead, although, the fact we've won the top flight, means I no longer demand success. Unless....CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MAN
Finnaldo Posted 5 July 2016 Posted 5 July 2016 First day back, all the attention on Mourinho at Man U, Guardiola at Man City etc. Good signs for Leicester, we're obviously not going under the radar again but the early signs of heavy media pressure hasn't shown yet, in that respect the influx of quality managers to big posts could help, a lot of pressure on a lot of big names to perform and live up to their names. Guardiola's first club where it hasn't been built for him or the only competitor for the title, Klopp has to start producing after an alright but inconsistent season and Mourinho has the ghost of Chelsea past still hanging over him. Meanwhile, I've only seen the OS post our first day back, and the mentions of new signings have been fairly passing, obviously not the £35 million+ signings Sky hoped we'd make so they could do 4 hour specials of Martial having a medical. Bet they're disappointed it's only a £16 million deal for Musa as well. Hopefully this chugs along with a couple more decent additions and without major loss and we'll be even stronger come the start of the season!

dpjfox Posted 5 July 2016 Posted 5 July 2016 Mahrez is one of them who had internationals after the season end so i think given extra time off,although his wife expecting shortly , maybe thats the reason for his absence
